Celebrities / Most Influential Person On Nairaland by tulouse(f): 11:30am On Nov 17, 2014 |
Hi Nairalanders, I'm of the opinion of having a contest or appreciating those who made the most impact on Nairaland in each section. Like I know lalalastica has contributed much on celebrity section ( I stand to be corrected if I'm wrong) also Mssteph on the job/Vacancies section, she had always posted authentic jobs, even a nairalander once posted that he/she got a job through Mssteph's post. I don't know of other sections but this is just my candid opinion. A lot do take their time to make researches and post them on Nairaland. Now, everyone is appreciated but we do have some outstanding Nairalanders. Let's keep the ball rolling by nominating an outstanding nairalander from each section and leave the rest to seun and the mods. |

Thanks all for the responses, my thought exactly is that FIRS doesn't recruit in that manner and the address doesn't match their office address. I was then wondering if there is another coy called FIRS . Also, when I called the man back, I asked him what position I'm being interviewed for, he said Trainee Officer and that I will go through one month training before I will be verified or perm employed. I'm really confused because secondly, I never applied for any trainee officer job. I don't even know what it is all about. |

Career / MTN Macademy by tulouse(f): 11:44pm On Nov 08, 2014 |
Hi Nairalanders, I'm sure some of you are already aware of the MTN Macademy which allows you to study courses at the rate of N100 per course and you will be issued certificate of completion. Now, my question is how credible do you think this online course is? According to what I found out, the courses are to run for 7 days, which means 7 days duration for any course you choose to study. What also attracted me was a statement on the site that you can add it to your CV, like it boosts your CV. Please what is your honest opinion about it? Do you think such online course will be relevant? Though it is stated on their site that they are working on the accrediton of some of the courses. |
