It’s not uncommon to see cats chasing laser pointers deviously operated by their playful owners all around the house. While viewing this famous cat distraction can be exceptionally interesting, seeing a young boy joining in the battle for laser pointer supremacy just might be a new one for most viewers.

The below video opens with a cute black cat chasing a laser pointer operated by her owner, but before long, the owner’s young son sees the fun that the cat is having and decides that he wants to get in on the game himself.

There’s nothing like family vacations to create memories that can last forever, which is something that one family in particular learns while on a safari trip to Africa.
In the footage below, the vacationing family visits a pride of lions in a lion park to enjoy the serene beauty of these magnificent creatures.

What they don't expect is that one of the female lions chooses to approach the car to get a closer look at everybody. Despite the fact that somebody in the car advises Dad to move on, he apparently doesn't go far enough. curiosity seems to get the best of one of the cats, and she uses her mouth to open the car door from the outside.

The family is obviously shocked and surprised with several screams ensuing, and their reaction is likely what helps prevent the lion from proceeding any further. They then wisely tell Dad to lock the doors with one family member remarking, “Boy, will you have a story to tell!”

In my 50 years of living with sickleanaemia cell issue, I have run over exceptionally heart twisting stories. I am certain some of you have more sad stories to tell about relatives or companions who experience the ill effects of the shocking condition. The case of Abiodun Abidemi Bakare below is one of such heart-wrenching cases that prompt this post in the first place.

Biodun was born with the sickle cell Anemia. The young man’s condition deteriorated after he wrapped up his final exams in the Olabisi Onabanjo University. He has lost all of the muscle functions in his lower body and the pain he goes through daily is better imagined than described. Abiodun urgently needs Hips and Knee replacement surgery. We hope to send him abroad for the replacement surgeries as soon as he is done with physiotherapy. Today his life hangs in the balance. He had to miss the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) on account of his illness.
