Good evening folks, I would like some candid advice:
I applied for a visa via the skilled immigrant act; I had my interview on the 29th of July and I was sent a mail to send my travel health insurance on the 5th of September, which i did on the 6th and via the DHL tracking ID, It's updated that the document was delivered on the 7th of September. I was told to select a travel date not sooner than 7 days, so i was expecting the documents to be back within the time-frame. But up until now i am yet to get my passport and original documents back. Please does anyone have an idea what's the longest time it takes to have my documents back. I have written to the embassy and had my HR also write to them but it's been tone deaf response. When i try to check if my documents have been shipped via the DHL tracking ID i was given when i submitted my passport at the embassy, there has been no update. can i go to the embassy myself to collect my passport and other documents back? do I still wait it out?
