Recently, a client got in touch with me to render my service for him as related to website.


During our conversation, he revealed to me that he actually have a website currently but he is not getting enough attention so he has decided to build another.

According to him, one of his friends whse website I recently worked on is getting more engagement. And that was why he contacted me so he can have a new one built.


Here was what I did, I went ahead to check out the website. Obviously, the reason he hasn't been getting enough engagement is a lack of digital marketing integration on the part of the builder.

I was able to convince him not to build a new website but rather re-designing it (User Interface), let the user feel comfortable while on the site by improving the User Experience (UX) through restructuring and sub-sequent optimizing to make it rank on Google.


Today, the man is a happy man and is grateful for the advice and work.

Here are the tips:

- Choose quality hosting

Start from the foundation, some host services are better than others, since none of them are bankrolling me, I will not be able to mention their names. But you may ask privately.

- Perform Site Analysis from time to time

There are several online site tools you can use to test your performance. Google has a very a pagespeed/analysis test tool, siteground is another. There tens of others

- Install CACHING TOOLS

It would be of best interest to cach your website. Caching ensures that your site won't have to reload from database every time someone access your website. New cache are created everytime you update. (This depends on the settings though). Thereby sing the speed of your website.

- Install LOADING OPTIMIZATION tools

You should optimize the ways at which your page loads. You do not all gadgets to load at once. By optimization, you will allow only the important one to load and call for others as the need arises. Take for instance, there may be several pictures on a page but a user won't see them at once. Some may not even scroll downward before they find what they need. So why load them, when you don't need them.

Different plugins are available for this task.
