Sports / Transfers: Barcelona To Sign 5 Players In July by Tweetbright(m): 9:24pm On Jun 18, 2022
As it stands now that the financial leverage Barcelona needs has been arranged, the squad would be injected with several new signings.

There are five players who has agreed personal terms with the club and what is left is just to negotiate their sales with their current clubs.
Barca would have to sell some players, probably Frenkie de Jong who has recently been linked with a Manchester United deal, Lenglet and Umtiti. The club would also need to cut player’s wages in order to accommodate new signings.

Andreas Christensen who is still at Chelsea and Franck Kessie of AC Milan have already signed for the club on free deals. They would be registered in coming weeks as their contracts are likely to be three to four years long.

Next on Barca’s priority is Bayern’s Robert Lewandowski who has already reached a personal agreement with Barcelona in February for two seasons with one more additional year. Barcelona are convinced they can get the Polish striker for as little as 30 million euros as Lewandowski is also forcing his way out of the club despite having a year left on his contract. Barcelona are looking to announce his signing from July 1.
Barcelona are also prioritizing signing two fullbacks this summer transfer window as they look to sign both Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta from Chelsea. Barcelona will have to pay for both players although not big fees.

With those five signings sealed, Barcelona would look to strengthen the central defense and also the ring wing position as Ousmane Dembele is set to leave the club on a free transfer, also a midfielder will be bought should De Jong leave for Manchester United.

Sports / Barcelona Midfielder Breaks Lionel Messi's Record by Tweetbright(m): 11:14pm On Dec 18, 2021
Barcelona midfielder Gavi scored his first goal for the club on Saturday in the game against Elche. Gavi, who is touted as one of the club’s big hopes in the post-Lionel Messi era, becomes the third youngest scorer in the club’s history after Ansu Fati (16 years and 304 days) and Bojan Krkic (17 years and 53 days).
Therefore, he has surpassed Messi in the rankings. Messi‘s first Barça goal came when he was 17 years and 331 days old. He has now been pushed down the chart.

He is one of several youngsters to have broken into the team in recent seasons. Ansu and Nico Gonzalez are others, while the likes of Pedri and Abde have come in from elsewhere.

So far, Gavi has played 21 times this season for the first team, with one goal and two assists to his name. Despite his age, he is already seen as a starter.

Sports / Barcelona Do Not Need A Miracle To Beat Bayern Munich by Tweetbright(m): 9:12pm On Dec 07, 2021
Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernandez knows what it takes to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages, they need to beat Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, Xavi doesn’t believe they will need a miracle to do so.
With the German champions looking unstoppable this season, it would be a very huge task for the Blaugrana side who is currently struggling in La Liga, although Xavi believes his team can beat anyone.

“It’s in our own hands and we’ll give it everything we’ve got. After the game, we’ll see,” said Xavi in his pre-match press conference.

“I don’t see it as a miracle.

“It’s one game and we can beat any opponent.”

Of course, Xavi is aware that Bayern aren’t just any opponent and Barcelona will have to be at their best to get anything in the Allianz Arena.

“We have to be patient,” said Xavi.

“This process isn’t overnight.

“We have a test against an opponent who have been better than us in our last meetings.”

The other encounter in the Group E, where Benfica play Dynamo Kiev, could also have a big say in Barcelona’s chances of qualifying for the next round. If Benfica fail to win, it doesn’t matter what happens in Munich, but Xavi prefers not to think about that.

“If we don’t win, we’re depending on that game,” said Xavi.

“I want to think that it’s more important to rely on ourselves than on others.”

Xavi is also focused on making history, because Barcelona have never won in Munich.

“The message to my players is that they forget everything, forget the pressure. That I’m there to help them,” said Xavi.

“To dominate the game using the ball, knowing that we face a very tough opponent. We know it’s a difficult task.

“History says we have never won in Munich, but history is there to be broken. I’m looking forward to it.”

Xavi also indicated that left back Jordi Alba should be available for the game which he described as “a final”, which would be a big boost for the team.

Bayern Munich host Barcelona at 21:00 WAT on Wednesday December 8.

Sports / Barcelona Eyes Arthur Cabral by Tweetbright(m): 10:43am On Nov 25, 2021
Barcelona would be looking to strengthen their attack in the winter transfer window as the team is currently without an offensive attacking force. The team in their previous game against Benfica ended in a goalless draw, meaning their chances of qualifying is now slim.

Barcelona are currently looking at Arthur Cabral, a 23 year old Brazilian that would perfectly fit the profile that the technical team is looking for, the Basel striker is in pole position to become the No 9 Barcelona wants.
He’s described as a killer in the box, with an impressive physique (1m 86 and weighs 86kg), has a strong shot. He’s also good in the air and can score with both feet, although his right is his natural foot. He can be a reference point in the team, superb in the box and he can link play when out of it.

He has been impressive at Basel, since arriving from Palmeiras in 2019. He has scored 23 goals and got 8 assists in 24 games this season.

He is highly recommended, with backing from former Barcelona player, Deco, responsible for scouting for Barcelona in Brazil and Portugal. Cabral could be the right piece of the puzzle for Barcelona.

SPORT have learned that there are ongoing negotiations for him to arrive in January. The formula is being worked on.

His contract expires in June 2023, so Basel are willing to sell him for around 15-20 million euros.

The player would love a move to Barcelona. He was recently called up to the Brazil squad by Tite.

Sports / Dembele And Dest Ready For Benfica Match by Tweetbright(m): 5:29pm On Nov 23, 2021
It’s the Champions League tonight and it’s Barcelona against Benfica.

With Xavi’s Barcelona currently struggling with injuries, Xavi Hernandez has released his squad list for the game against Benfica tonight.

Team B players Inaki Pena, Nico, Gavi, and Alejandro Balde were included in the squad list with two big inclusions, Ousmane Dembele and Sergino Dest.

Sergio Busquets, Oscar Mingueza and Nico Gonzalez who got knocks at the weekend in the game against Espanyol are included and fit to play. Still, there is no sign of Ansu Fati, Braithwaite and Pedri as they are still on the sidelines

The squad list is as follows: Ter Stegen, Dest, Piqué, Araujo, Busquets, Riqui Puig, Dembélé, Memphis, Demir, Neto, Coutinho, Lenglet, Luuk De Jong, Jordi Alba, Frenkie De Jong, Òscar Mingueza, Umtiti, Eric Garcia, Iñaki Peña, Balde, Nico, Gavi and Balde.

The game is treated as a MUST win game because if Barca win, they are in the last 16, if they draw or lose then things are looking extremely difficult as they face Bayern Munich in the final group game.

Sports / Why Lionel Messi Hasn't Renewed His Contract At Barcelona by Tweetbright(m): 11:04am On Jul 03, 2021
Barcelona are working so hard to find an agreement so that Lionel Messi renews his contract which expired on June 30, leaving him as a free agent. In recent days, the financial fair play requirement enforced by la Liga made this really difficult for the Catalans, as revealed by Marca, it is not the only stumbling block preventing the deal from been done.

Barcelona have to cut their salary expenses in order to accommodate Lionel Messi, even with him taking a significant reduction in terms of pay.

The current offer made by Barcelona would see Messi go to the United States after two seasons at Camp Nou, and while recouping lost earnings from Barcelona while there. A lot of payments meant for the Argentine have also been delayed of late.

Messi wants to understand how the tax system works as it will likely pose some issues regarding where his tax should be paid when he collects any deferred money he will earn from Spain, which is likely to happen to any player who moves abroad.

Barcelona is obviously short of cash and it is very important they attempt to trim down the club’s expenses by asking players to take a pay cut.

On the other hand, Lionel Messi wants to understand the exact terms of payment, as well as guarantees, should in case there is a new wave of a pandemic or overrides the club’s delicate financial situation. Messi wants to know where he stands.

Again, there is a lot of money that hasn’t been paid to the Argentine. His advisors want to see what happens with his pending payments and if they’re added to the new contract.

Lastly, as we all know Messi is desperate to see Barcelona compete for trophies. The sporting project is of great importance to Messi. So far, Barcelona has signed Sergio Aguero, Eric Garcia and Memphis Depay. It is yet to be seen if Messi will need more.

Sports / PSG Wants To Sign Lionel Messi by Tweetbright(m): 4:57pm On Jul 02, 2021
French giants Paris Saint-Germain are trying to get the Argentine signature as Barcelona forward, Lionel Messi is now a free agent. PSG are sending him a last-minute offer to secure his services according to the latest reports.
PSG has already signed Real Madrid’s captain, Sergio Ramos on a free transfer, and they look forward to adding the Barcelona captain to their squad.

Leo’s contract at Barcelona has expired although he intends to remain at the Camp Nou. However, financial issues are said to be holding up the official announcement of the renewal.

The Parisians haven’t denied their interest in bringing Messi to Paris over the past few years, They are a financial power house having signed free agents Georginio Wijnaldum, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Sergio Ramos recently with more signings expected.

Messi is currently with the Argentina squad as they are still in the Copa America, they will play their first knockout game tomorrow against Ecuador.

Sports / Lionel Messi Contract Expires By Midnight by Tweetbright(m): 1:29pm On Jun 30, 2021
Lionel Messi will stop being an official player for FC Barcelona by midnight, when it is already July 1. The Argentine forward’s contract, signed on November 25, 2017 until June 30, 2021, expires today, ending in few hours.

Since Joan Laporta return as Barcelona president for the second time, it has been his No.1 goal to get Messi to put pen to paper on a new deal, but the Catalan club’s all-time record goalscorer is yet to do so.

Laporta has a very good relationship with Lionel Messi and his father, who he speaks to frequently, but when it has come to reaching an agreement there are still some pending issues to be resolved.

These slight differences could be addressed in the next couple of days, or it could take a bit longer, but Laporta is clear that he wants an agreement to be reached imminently in order to avoid seeing Messi become a free agent, even if it just for a matter of days.

Officially a Barça player since January 8, 2001, when he formalized that commitment symbolically initialed on a napkin, there have been 7,478 days of a commitment that both parties want to extend.

It is possible that Laporta will try to reach an agreement with Messi‘s representatives before midnight tonight (June 30), but sources close to the negotiations note that not all of the remaining issues can be resolved in a few hours unless one of the parties gives in on all their demands.

In the meantime, Messi is currently representing Argentina at the Copa America in Brazil.

wat God can do, the devil can also. the devil is constantly roaming around the earth seeking for whom to devour. Christians can also perform OBEs, I prefer calling it TRANCE. For those seeking to equip urselves to resist God from destroying the earth, remember that no one can battle with the Lord. Remember that the old serpent is wise nd cunning, don't fall prey.
