PoliticsRe: Atiku's Coalition Announces Six Powerful Leaders From Across Geopolitical Zones by Twist4u: 4:17pm On May 27, 2025
Watching in 3D

Atiku should stop the continuous hijack of PDP.

How can a man maintain that until he becomes a president a whole PDP cannot stick to simple zoning to the south.
PoliticsRe: Wike’s Agreements Not Binding On Party – PDP by Twist4u: 5:41am On May 27, 2025
prettytasha:
I'm trying to understand why the pdp are unable to suspend wike...
Who are the PDP Members that will suppend Wike ? Is it Atiku or Saraki that decamped to APC and brought an APC, Buhari, to Power?

Infact, Wike has been the most consistent and committed PDP Member bar none. A man that single handedly sponsored the party all through the buhari draconian 8 years.

All he has been saying is, zone presidency to the South.

But, for the most impatient, unstrategic and foolish politician called Atiku wouldn't allow that. To him, until he becomes president zoning cannot stand in PDP.

He that comes to equity most come with clean hands.

Atiku should be banned for hijacking PDP and not Wike.
PoliticsRe: Since I Left Naija, I’ve Seen What Real Governance Looks Like by Twist4u: 4:57am On May 27, 2025
Effective Governance has always been Bottom - up structured framework and not Top - Bottom like in Nigeria. Nigeria is simply a land engrossed with injustice and corruption.

Generate 90% of revenue from Niger Delta oil and develop Lagos and Abuja since 1960. (Lagos being Nigeria capital for 47 years & Abuja since 1991). Currently, The money is shared in Abuja monthly and In return they give a paltry sum of 13% to the Oil producing state to share.

And the die hard Ronus, claimed they own Lagos and that it was developed by Tinubu (AKA, Chicago Bobo)

Some day, very soon, the North will take ownership of Abuja and claim it is Buhari that develop it.

What a country!!.

in a free and fair election H.E Peter Obi will disgrace druggie under one hour with landslide victory.

Tpain is a calamity that wrecked havoc on the Nigeria economy and killed more than 7 million businesses and 10+ conglomerate companies under 2 two years of his regime as clearly recorded by Sahara reporters.

How can sane Nigerians vote for a man who was highly vocal in a live media chat about how his ill thought policy brought one of his friend down from driving Rose Royce to driving Toyota under his watch.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Sanctions 580 Nightclubs, Restaurants For Indoor Smoking Violations by Twist4u: 9:08pm On May 21, 2025
The Dirtiest Slum in Africa is Makoko Community in Lagos. Houses built on water and toilets on same water and children swim in same water.

How comes such filt still exist in a Former Nigeria Capital of 47 years.

To think that, this dirty Slum can be easily found on YouTube videos, speak volume on where this environmental guys places it's priorities.

PoliticsRe: All South East Governors Are Supporting Tinubu - Umahi by Twist4u: 11:33pm On May 20, 2025
As the Oyo State Governor, Ola Makinde stated very clearly "The 2027 elections will be APC versus the Nigerians".

I have never seen a President so out of touch with the Masses like Tinubu. A man that prioritize Politicians welfare over the masses. Gave Federal judges and National Assembly members millions each as palliatives, and reduced his die hard Ronus monthly stipend from #30k of Buhari to #8k currently. (please fact check me).

What a Balaluuu!!!!
PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Democracy Has Failed, We Must Explore New Governance Models - Agbakoba by Twist4u: 8:46pm On May 20, 2025
Winner take it all. so on point.
Nigerian President control everything. The Executive, The Legislature: National Assembly, Judiciary, LGA, Media, INEC, Armed forces, DSS, Police, MDA appointments. As such, Undermines the Federal Character principles of equal representation without recourse. There was a country, indeed.
PoliticsRe: Is There An Ideological Difference Between The Apc And The Pdp? by Twist4u: 9:28pm On May 17, 2025
The Difference is clear even to the Blind. PDP has a Nationalistic ideology while APC has Palliative/Almajiri ideology towards governance.

Nigeria cannot see growth understand such a primitive ideology of palliatives that enslaved Ronu since time immemorial to have concluded that Tinubu built Lagos.
PoliticsThe Height Of Injustice Against The Idoma People In Benue State by Twist4u(op): 1:51pm On May 17, 2025
For over 60 years since the creation of Benue State, a glaring injustice has persisted—one that marginalizes the Idoma people and favors a single dominant tribe, the Tiv. Despite the state's ethnic diversity, every democratically elected governor since the state's inception has come from the Tiv ethnic group.

Benue State consists of 23 Local Government Areas (LGAs). Of these, the Tiv occupy 14 LGAs, while the Idoma are concentrated in 9 LGAs, mainly in the southern part of the state. Yet, almost all state developmental projects, infrastructural investments, and political appointments are centered around Makurdi—the state capital—and the Tiv-dominated LGAs. The Idoma areas have been consistently sidelined.

Currently, there are two major universities in Benue State:

1. Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi

2. Benue State University, also located in Makurdi

Now, to further deepen this imbalance, the Federal Government has commissioned a third university, (State University of Agriculture) which is to be located in Vandeikya, another Tiv LGA. This move, rather than addressing the longstanding regional disparities, aggravates them—consolidating all three federal and state universities within Tiv territories.

Meanwhile, the Idoma LGAs remain underdeveloped and neglected, still bearing the hallmarks of the 1960s: dense forests, poor roads, lack of electricity, inadequate healthcare, and little to no industrial or educational infrastructure. This is despite the fact that the Idoma areas account for nearly 5 million people, in contrast to states like Bayelsa, which has only 8 LGAs and less than 3 million people, yet enjoys better infrastructural distribution.

This raises important questions:

Do the 9 Idoma LGAs not contribute significantly to the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of Benue State to benefit from the center?

Why is there a persistent and deliberate denial of equal development and educational opportunity?

How can a state justify having three universities in the LGAs of a single ethnic group, while another with nearly half of the state’s LGAs has none?

This is more than just administrative imbalance; it is a structural injustice that must be confronted.

We issue this clarion call to all Idoma sons and daughters, home and abroad—traditional leaders, political figures, youth groups, professionals, and the general public—to rise and demand equity. The proposed third university must be relocated to an Idoma LGA, where it can serve as a catalyst for long-overdue development and inclusion.

It is time to end this systematic marginalization. It is time for justice.
