phosky: Throwback Video of Oshodi in 2003 Sparks Reactions — “Wait Till You See the Transformation
A viral throwback video showing Oshodi in April 2003 has got Nigerians talking online, as many compare the chaotic scenes from back then to what the area looks like today. The clip, which is currently trending on TikTok and X, captures the old Oshodi — overcrowded buses, street trading everywhere, and heavy congestion — a sharp contrast to the modern transport interchange and cleaner environment people see now. Many commenters are crediting the transformation to policies that started during the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was governor of Lagos at the time reforms began. Some reactions online: “If you didn’t see Oshodi before 2007, you won’t understand this transformation.” “This is why Lagos will always be different.” “Love him or hate him, this change is massive.” Others, however, argue that multiple administrations contributed to the development of Oshodi, sparking debate about who deserves the most credit. Watch the full video below 👇 TikTok: https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSmAsbbAF/ X: What do you think — real transformation or political propaganda? It was Babatunde Raji Fashola that started massive demolitions of buildings along the roads, underbridges shanties, shops and the likes to realise Lagos transformation, not Tinubu. Ambode then follow the suits, especially that Oshodi gigantic motor pack you see today. So, You people should stop misleading the public and demerit other Governors. |

No Be Juju Be Dat? You claimed you served there (for a year ooo!), myself worked there in Ikwo local government for four years ooo!. I even took my dstv decoder there, installed it that bushy community and equally help two otherr persons permanently staying in that community to install too. So, no where in those areas is with no Internet connectivity. Through Internet or online, I applied for jobs and I got a better job and returned to lagos. That's about 10 years ago ooo, not to even talk of now that Internet connectivity and online activities have taken over. Meanwhile, when those nonsense people controversially passed the tax reform into law, the people in those 9 states were taken into consideration now? So, don't be retrogressive and politically biased. |

immaculatesense: I thought NYSC should have exposed some of you beyond your states and local government na. Oh sorry, not all of your graduated from school or had opportunity to serve. I served in Ebonyi state in Ezza North to be precise just a little less than 10 years ago and I can say authoritatively that there was no single bank in the whole of Ezza North at the time. We had to go to Abaliki before we could make withdrawals. I knew how many kilometers we had to trek just to make a call, we couldn't even receive calls because there were no network. How will REAL TIME transmission of results work in those areas? Or election should not hold in those areas abi? So, if them ask you no, you go answer say banks dey all local government in Nigeria abi? Dey there.
No Be Juju Be Dat? So are you saying no one is using cell phone there or what?. You only need Internet to transmit the results, and there's practically and almost no where in Nigeria states you cannot make call from. Meanwhile, I have also worked for Ikwo local between 2014 to 2018, I made video calls and the likes from there. Only used to come to Abakaliki for banking and for purchase of some other food stuff on weekly basis. |

There are sensors on the gearbox and engine monitoring activities on both and as well communicating with the help of ECM. Scan first, look for codes, and troubleshoot by a competent person, not just mechanic. |

lanrezy: I have Toyota Corolla 2018 that rpm goes up like its firing itself, making that drastic raising sound. And the car jerks in this process, that gbim sound, all this happens in like 5s and were seldomly happening till it became frequent and now i cant drive the the car for 5m without it coming to an halt until i let it rest.
A gear came and said it’s a gear issue that it is the clutch/turtle(can’t remember) and he can fix it.
Question now is that can it be fixed or i should just get a new gearbox or just sell the car off? NO PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVABLE. FIRST SCAN THE CAR AND LET US KNOW THE DTC CODES THAT WILL COME UP. MAKE SURE YOU DRIVE THE VEHICLE BEDORE SCAN IT, AND DONT REMOVE THE BATTERY TERMINAL UNTIL AFTER YOUR SCANNING BECAUSE, SOME PEOPL LIKE REMOVING BATTERY TERMINAL WHEN THEIR VEHICLE IS NOT IN USE, DOING SO ALWAYS CAUSE SOME STORED DTC CODES TO BE DISAPPEARED FROM VEHICLE ECU |

The only animals that can come out unscathed in a fight with this snake is a cat (faster reaction time) honey badger (immunity to venom) and the mongoose (immunity to venom). You are very correct, especially those domestic cats. They are very quick and reactive and faster than snake strikes. |
Pets › Re: My Dog Killed This Snake by Twob: 7:51pm On Feb 07, 2025 |
Domestic cat, some birds, honeybadger and some other animals kill snakes easily, especially cat. The snake is either a forest or spitting cobra. For sure, from the writers notions about the dog, the snake had bitten the dog, hence the reason foe the dog sickly behaviour. But thank God he quickly called the vet to come to the dog's aid... That snake is venomous |

Is not good at all.
As a matter of fact, you may not notice anything wrong with the transmission immediately, so try use the one specified by the manufacturer and possibly flush the one in the system.
Moreover, u will need to rectify permanently the cause for your splashing fluid. If it is rubber hose rupturing, get a good one or better still use steel pipe for it |

C240 4matic is the vehicle I have been using from 2020 till date. I carry out repairs on it myself because I am an electromechanical Engr.
*Security: very high, na Benz, so no cause for fair *Reliability: very good (equipped with M112 engine, 2.6l), never let me down on road *Ruggedness: very ok, na strong car *Maintenance: 7 litres of mobil 1 at every 5000 miles (8000 km). Though manufacturer said change after 10000miles (16000km) *Consumption: almost equivalent to that of 04 Camry, 2.4l engine (I have driven and compared the two). A full Tank (68 litre) took me from Lakowe via Ajah to Oyo state and took me back to Ojuelegba, lagos *parts availability: plenty for Trinity, Ojuelegba & Ladipo. Besides, the vehicle parts are very strong and authentic *mechanic: myself * you will hardly visit mechanic shop
As for the Peugeot, I can't say much about. Of course I am sure we don't have much mechanic for them. The parts are also of concern. The Consumption, maintenance may lower compared to the C240, security wise, it cannot near that benz. The pictures attached is my own c240 4matic, everything still working perfectly well on the car

First scan it, check the doc codes and clear the codes. It should get reset like that. I have corrected such a scenario on one Nissan Armada jeep before. |

This is American spec. It's miles my brother.
As for the catalyst, you need to put it back. It is only one catalyst that vehicle has, the other one you are talking of is muffler. There are two sensors around the exhaust line. One (air-fuel ratio sensor) before the catalyst, the other (heated oxygen sensor) after the catalyst, these are the two sensors monitoring and given feedback to the engine ECU about the effectiveness fuel consumptionand catalyst. So try to fix it.
Incase you need the original catalyst for the vehicle, I have it. |
