Hmmmm. I was actually worried when i saw the letter but i still thank God it's something i can actually deal with and allow God to perfect it 🙏 ijn

How is your application going?
Still waiting and it’s gotten over a year now.

According to them the proof i submitted for my relationship is not sufficient to proof that my relationship is not for immigration purposes. So i was asked to provide additional documents to proof my relationship.
That’s not worrisome at all. The VO just needs to be convinced with further evidence of the relationship. Thank goodness it’s not a misrepresentation issue. You should get a response very soon.

Please how long does it take to get response if you submit your response to PFL by Ircc
I think it’s within 30 days if the issue is not technical. If it’s a complex scenario it can take longer but if you don’t mind can you share what led to the PFL?

Wow! I think you should keep sending webforms. You should get a response any time soon. Hope you’ve done your medicals?

Hello All, A silent reader here and my timeline is similar to @maestro09 's

Got Married - Aug 2024.
Submitted Application - Oct 8th but on IRCC portal, Oct 7th as it was done in the midnight.
AOR - Nov 4th (Didn't get a mail but updated on the tracker)
Biometrics Instruction : Nov 13th
Submitted Biometrics at VFS Lagos: Nov 18th
Eligibility Completed on Tracker : Nov 19th
Pre Arrival Mail : Nov 21st
Medical Instruction : Nov 22nd
Did Medicals at Q-life Lagos : Dec 2nd
Medicals Updated to Completed on Tracker : Dec 6th
Background Verification Completed : Dec 17th
Passport Request : Dec18th
COPR Updated on Tracker : Dec 18th, though the date on it is Dec 6th.
Submitted Passport at VFS London : Dec 19th
Passport Ready for Collection : Dec 23rd
Passport And COPR document Collection at vfs London : Dec 27th (Today)

Our process took Two months and honestly, I would say it's all God and grace.

We followed all the instructions during application; we gave them only ten pages of chat as requested...only WhatsApp chat actually. We submitted only 20 pictures as requested too. And again, this was all God.

I pray for everyone, that God will grant us all grace, favour and speed.
Congratulations 👏👏👏 These timelines are super fast and probably you had the same processing office as @maestro. Accra is a pain in the ass.

A silent reader of the thread, but will like to share my family’s timeline.

- Got married Oct 5, 2024
- Submitted Application Oct 7, 2024
- AOR Nov 5, 2024
- Biometrics Invitation Letter Nov 11, 2024

At this point, I booked Medicals in advance to reduce travel inconveniences.

- Eligibility showed completed on the Tracker, Nov 21,2024
- Pre arrival services letter Nov 21, 2024
- Second AOR received Nov 21, 2024
- Medical examination request, Nov 21, 2024
- IRCC Request Letter reminding us to complete Biometrics and Medical within 30 days, Nov 27, 2024.
- Medical examination done (I booked in advance even before the request came in) Nov 28, 2024
- Biometrics completed Nov 29, 2024
- Responded to IRCC’s request letter via Webform to show evidence of Biometrics and Medical completion, Nov 29, 2024
- Medical Passed, Dec 03, 2024
- COPR, Dec 03, 2024
- Background Verification completed Dec 11, 2024
- Passport Request Dec 11, 2024

The whole process was just about 2 months.

Tips
- I submitted more than enough proof for everything
- Evidence of chats and video calls with partner spanning over 3 years
- PRAYER. LOTS OF PRAYER!

Our application also never went to Accra. It was processed in Australia and Canada.

Thanks to all those who have shared their stories here. I researched on this thread for a week before putting together the application. Thank you all!
Congratulations 🥳 🥳 🥳. That was swift!! Thanks for sharing.

Good afternoon guys, please see below my timeline and advise;

Submission - February 06
Aor - Feb 28
SA: Feb 28
Bil request: Feb 28
Bil updated: March 22
Medical request - Aug 5
Medicals updated: Sep 5
Background verification is completed on tracker but eligibility is showing “not started”

Is this normal??
Yes! it’s been happening like that so it’s normal. All I can say is that you should ignore the “eligibility not started” info. At this point I think they are so busy that they don’t update the tracker realtime. I saw a post online about someone whose application was 10 months without any reasonable update on tracker. He sent webform and got his copr updated on tracker same day!

Hello house, if someone received a medical request form from IRCC does it mean the application is almost done?
When did you submit? From what I have seen, it’s definitely a form of progress but it doesn’t mean the application is close to completion (except study visa) we have seen people wait 5 months after medicals before getting copr. Yours could be sooner though.
TravelRe: Canada Spouse Family Sponsorship Visa/appeal Process by Tylerpapaz: 8:43pm On Oct 18, 2024
Please when was your medicals? And when did you submit? I ve completed medicals since May but Eligibility not started and background check is in progress.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Tylerpapaz: 8:38pm On Jul 13, 2023
Don't worry. If you checked previous pages, you will realize that you're not alone in this. Definitely there are many VO's reviewing applications, maybe a few of them have backlogs cause I don't see any other logical reason for this (7 weeks + )processing time
SouthernBreeze:
Good evening house. I am a silent member on this platform and have been following the thread. Please I did my biometrics on 23rd May and nothing from IRCC up till now, is there anyone with similar case? Please I need your input on this. Thanks
