Explain Why many Nigerians are going to lose their money. Business, Houses and lives which will escalate into the worst Humanitarian crisis in the History of mankind over the next 25 years.
Insecurity Is Destroying Economic Foundations

Types of insecurity:

Banditry

Kidnapping

Terrorism

Farmer–herder crisis

Effects on money and business:

Investors avoid risky areas

Businesses shut down

Transport of goods becomes expensive

Jobless Youth Bulge = Social Time Bomb

Nigeria’s population may exceed 400 million by 2050.

Millions of youths entering job market yearly
A large, angry, hungry youth population is historically linked to civil unrest and wars.

Debt, Inflation, and Weak Currency Will Wipe Out Savings

What this means for ordinary Nigerians:

Naira losing value

Savings becoming worthless

Cost of living rising faster than income

For businesses: Imported raw materials become unaffordable

Loans become harder to repay

Many SMEs may collapse

-Healthcare and Education Systems Are Failing

Underfunded hospitals

Brain drain of doctors and nurses

Millions of out-of-school children

Funds meant for development are stolen

-Lack of long-term planning

Manlikechims:
There is a general rule of thumb guide, budget 100-150pounds daily for trip.
- So for example, If you’re traveling for 5 days and your budget is 150 per day then that’s 750 pounds. - You can then add a little extra for shopping and then your ticket cost.
- The 150 pounds per day should cover hotel, feeding and transportation.

- if you’re a working adult and it isn’t a work/business trip and you’re being sponsored by the establishment it never makes sense to add another adult as a FINANCIAL SPONSOR. Just try and think from the perspective of you being told for example a 30 year old grown ass man without any disability that another adult is paying his bills and he is coming to spend some time in your house for a month. I highly doubt that you’d be happy to accommodate him because your thought will be that he will somehow become a liability.
Thanks for your input.

But you misunderstood my question.

I am asking how to split the expenses on the trip. The total cost is 1,950 pounds.

How much money will the sponsor be paying towards the visit?

How much money is the applicant planning to spend on the visit?

These are questions on the application form.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by typingmaster: 2:25pm On Nov 07, 2025
Manlikechims:
You can highlight it and reference what the payment received was for. It doesn’t count as additional source of income.
Additional source of income outside of your salary is things like allowance from maybe family and friends which is constant.
- Side hustles
- rental incomes
- Pension
Etc and not a 20k one off payment for uniform.
Cashmadam:
It's an allowance and part of your income.

Add the 20k to your salary so that you don't complicate issues for yourself. 20K in Naira converted to Pounds is not a lot of money. Just add it to your salary and move on.
Thank you.

One more thing.

Applicant has 2,817,000 naira in the account. Salary is 337,974 naira monthly and monthly expenses is 212,000 naira.

There's a sponsor that has 7,000 dollars in his account.

Cost of trip is 1,950 pounds.

What's the maximum can the applicant personally spend for this trip?
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by typingmaster: 7:40am On Nov 07, 2025

In the bank statement, there is a 20,000 naira paid by the employer as allowance to buy uniform.

So how do I put this type of payment in the form?

If the applicant is an adult then father should not be full sponsor. He or she must stand on their own funds to travel

Only exception should be a young adult in university no job
Thanks for your input but you are missing the question.

I am not asking if the dad can be a sponsor or not.
The applicant is an adult and wants to go to UK to write exam.

My question is about what to present as a sponsor. Should only the sponsor's personal statement be used and the sponsor will be presented as a retired business man.

The father(sponsor) has a business with active CAC but no activity in his business account for the past 6 months.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by typingmaster: 7:01am On Oct 21, 2025
Help please.

The father is sponsoring. His personal account is okay but there were some large withdrawal that were done for personal project.

The father has a business registered with CAC but there's no recent activity in the business bank account for that past 6 years.

So should the applicant leave out the business side of the sponsor?

Should the sponsor be said to have retired? If retired? Will there be need for any supporting document that he has retired from business?

The only scenarios that would make this application sail through is if this is for an elderly or aged parent coming to see their child or someone coming to write exams or a serious professional engagement or a person with extensive travel history to 1st world nations.
Otherwise abort mission, can not get a UK visitor visa with this profile described here.

ESTIMATED COST FOR TRIP

Departing and return flight ticket: NGN 1,568,000 (GBP 764.185)

Miscellaneous NGN 500,000 (GBP 243.681)

Applicant has financial sponsorship who will contribute 2.5 million naira

Applicant has accomodation sponsor that will host and provide feeding.

The trip will only be for 3 days.

Applicant has 400,000 naira in the bank account.

Sponsor has 5 million naira in the bank account.

From these, is 1,229 pounds okay for total estimated cost of trip?

And is the applicants bank account balance of 400k naira okay, though there's a sponsor?

Why the multiple payments? Any reason why sponsor’s account could not be provided?

Anticipated travel cost is 1,800 pounds.

Sponsor has sent up to 5 Million naira in installments to the applicants bank account.

So what should be written in.

How much you are you personally going to spend?

How much will the sponsor pay towards the trip?

For monthly expenses of

1st month: 105,055 naira

2nd month: 71,434 naira

3rd month: 129,820 naira

4th month: 94,255 naira

Which should be used as how much one spend a month?

From May to August, a bonus of 66,000 naira was paid for each month.

A contract within these four months earned sums of 700k, 800k, 44,000 and 48,000 naira in separate months.

In the section of Additional regular income for a year, what should I write?

Should I consider contract work as part of additional regular income cos the pay is not static and varies? Or I should only use the bonus of 66k to get my yearly additional regular income?
