So if you are over there in Vietnam, and you get terribly hit by a car, the car would zoom off while everyone looks away?

Then I prefer the Nigerian system. Even an unknown person can settle an accidental dispute here in Nigeria. A Nigerian won't see a female on the floor bleeding and over look that person.

Bro..if the person that hit u didn't stop..the rest is up to the police, and on the road every one is minding there business...if u see anyone to attend to ur issue u are lucky...during our tym there one of our skul mates died in a bike accident and the other bike person didn't wait..it was 4month after he was arrested with the help of secrets cams

Whoever said blacks can't tan was lying. When Spring came and the sun started showing up gradually, I was excited. Like it had been cold for a while and no sign of sunshine so it felt good to feel some sun on my skin.

People kept saying I shouldn't wish for summer too quickly but I just laughed. Don't get me wrong, I love and prefer the cold but a li sun wouldn't hurt.

Then I started seeing people. wearing long sleeves, no not just long sleeves, it's like a gown that covers from head to toes when going out. I didn't understand until today.

The sun here didn't come to play I swear. It's not just hot but the air is HOT and the sun FRIES! your skin. See pictures of my arm after I went out to fix my bike.

Notice the two skin tones? The light part is where the sleeves of my t-shirt stopped

Lolz...this same reason is why I do laugh when corona neva reach Africa then..that pple are saying corona can't survive our naija sun..I now ask den if corona is in Asia Vietnam, Cambodia then sun can't stop it cos our naija sun no reach the sun and heat in Vietnam

Accidents

Last night, I had an accident. It happened soo fast. One thing I've noticed is when you bash or someone bashes your bike or car, KEEP MOVING.

Nobody does the screaming, yelling, a beg na, pay for damages wahala. They can just mumble sorry and keep moving.

So I held on to the breaks too fast to avoid hitting some guy who was trying to zoom past someone Infront who was clearly trafficating. Landed on the floor and hit my "head" . Thankfully, I had a helmet on (which is compulsory here) so the helmet was what actually hit the floor.

The only person that stopped was the guy who was trafficating and had nothing to do with the accident. The other guy just prolly kept going.

Thankfully, I'm fine, not a scratch. My headlamp got broken though. First mechanic said it will cost about 18k in Nigerian naira to fix it and some other part that was broken.

Got another mechanic who's fixing it for 7k. Price price price.

Bottom line...these guys here drive rough. Expect anything at anytime. They don't have the other road users mentality. It's all about them

Eyha...thank God it's not much, accidents is normal there and it's not like naija that u shout on urself..dey don't even abuse themselves that u are at fault or so, no one will even stop to check what happened...pls careful out there with bike..very soon u too will be the don on there road..stay safe
