Ismy5000:
Its a device but there is an app for it on Android phones
Just like the name . its bin use for searching of various satellite.the price is from 20 to 25k upward

Hmm, that price is a far cry from the price Lov4sat mentioned. Thanks still.

ben1daEbiri:
Sorry I'm not in town, would've offered to help you get it installed!

That would've been nice, when will you be around?

Lov4sat:
it is a device. You can get it at any shop that sells decoders and sat equipment I got mine for #2,500 back then i don't know how much it will cost now

Thanks.
Can you snap and post a picture of this device so i know what iam looking for?

HIGHESTPOPORI:
Many of my installers use satfinders to get the signal first.

Is this Satfinder an app or a device? Hw much does it cost and how can I get it?

abohwun:
your location

Port Harcourt.

Assasin's Creed Syndicate: Repetitive as hell, had to abandon the lullaby.
Bloodbourne: Very rubbish graphics, an insult to the power of the PS4, difficulty is frustrating.
Metro First Light Redux: Crashed at the middle.
Driveclub: Cars are Difficult to control, had plenty games to play then anyway so abandoned it.
Until dawn: Dont know if it was movie i was watching or game i was playing, abandoned it so bad.
Crysis 3: Framerate issues.

Those are the ones i can remember for now.

Hello bro, that T V'S tuner is awesome! but first get a separate decoder/receiver and track any FTA channel.after you have gotten pictures, you then disconnect from the receiver and connect the TV with the coaxial cable.if you do auto scan you will not get any response. You need to manually key in the frequency and the SR.. once you key in the correct values , the tuner will quickly scan for the channels and save them.

Well, i dont have any FTA decoder, only decoder i have is GoTv. Iv com across people that use this Satellite sytems on their LG Satellite Tvs and it works perfectly. I even asked a friend to send me a screenshot of his Satellite Tuner settings in his Tv, he's connected to NileSat, very clear, i input all the cordinates, still didnt work. I thought it wont be a hassle to set this up, damn am i wrong! I'll need an installer to do this for me..
Btwn, wats "SR"?

daddy001:
Begin ur trial with the easiest sat Ses5@4 with your dish facing the sky

You mean just keep the dish on the floor and point it straight up to the sky?
What happens after that? No extra settings?

logonlaredo:
@tziz get an installer of satelitte dish to assist you with the 1st installation, look the steps he follow with keen interest and ask questions. it is not so easy as u think (in ur pics upload), there is more to it. or
Better go to YouTube and look for "self installation of a satellite TV dish system" there are about 5videos there (part1-5) to assist u.

Thanks for this bro.

Guys, I'm new here. Please I need assistance on somethings. Iam a DIY guy but a noob in dis FTA field. I have an LG Smart TV with Satellite receiver/tuner, so I decided to test the satellite feature with a dish today but Iam getting 0 channels, Iv been trying since morning aligning and realigning the dish to no avail. Iv tuned into NileSat 7.0 and some others I saw, didn't work. Is there something I'm missing? Can someone give me a step by step guide on how to go about Satellite tuning in LG Satellite TVs Pls...
Below are pics of the Dish, the Satellite Tuner interface of the TV and d details on the LNB...
The TV model is 42LF580V.
