EducationHow To Set Up Emergency Information On Your Phone by UbongJulius(op): 12:49pm On Jun 13, 2021
Set Up This Life-saving Feature On Your Phone, Now! by UbongJulius: 11:41am
Situations might arise when a third party needs to make an emergency call with your phone, it won't be possible because you are either using a pin, password, or pattern to lock your phone.

Trying to tackle the above, I have seen Some people disabling their phone security but that will be giving all and sundry access to your phone.

But there is a way to do that without disabling your phone security.

Yes, one can make an emergency call(s) if the need arises and it can be done without unlocking your phone.

Not just that one can see your address, blood type, allergies, medications, medical notes, etc.

For you to do this you will have to set up your emergency information.

I bet you must have seen an 'emergency call' on your phone's lock screen.

And you might have to press it a couple of times and you will see an interface almost like your dial screen with the "emergency information" at the top. If not then….

Tap "emergency call" on your lock screen. (It will show a dial like an interface to show)

Then double-tap it "emergency information".

Tap the pencil icon on the top right corner of your phone.

What will appear on your screen will show "edit information" and "add the contact".

Click "edit information" to fill in your name, blood type, allergies, medication, medical note, etc.

Click "add the contact" to add contact(s) that should be contacted in case of an emergency.

After setting up your emergency information all one has to do is click on an emergency call and double tab on emergency information to assess all you fill out including be able to call the contact listed.
