Oh! Thank you so much. I probably didn't read the whole posts on this thread. nulltag: I think @airsaylongcom did mention the GT program runs for 3 years, after which one is promoted, can't remember the exact position he mentioned.
Though, some people got promoted before that 3 years.
This was mentioned somewhere on this thread |

I have a question for whoever can answer me CORRECTLY.
How long does a Graduate Trainee take before he/she is promoted to the next level, and what is the next level of promotion?
Edit: I'll rephrase, what is the next official step after the graduate trainee stage and what's the duration for the GT stage? |

airsaylongcome: Register for AC!!! Look and “commot” eye o.
And abeg, don’t “insult” the word ignorance. It’s several levels higher than what you are equating it with Dear Seun, I humbly request that you add an emoji reaction feature to this forum. This is too funny abegggg🤣🤣🤣 |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by UcBren(m): 8:11pm On Mar 19 |
airsaylongcome: Virtual AC is a thing no doubt. But omo, the cheating some of you did during the aptitude test ehn, I don’t know that HR has the energy to be spot checking all of you for AC. Huge drain on resources The same level of cheating occured in the 2022 GT set though. It would actually be hard to do anything about it, but again, people can't hide from the Assessment Centre. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by UcBren(m): 8:06pm On Mar 19 |
JobsLever: So they will just send you invite for AC and you will not register. This might probably be my last response to you. Thankfully, you'd be here when the AC invite mails come in, and I pray to God that your eyes would be opened like Paul to see that you've been spewing "ignorance" all the while. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by UcBren(m): 8:03pm On Mar 19 |
airsaylongcome: I don’t think virtual AC will EVER be a thing. Not with the “crazy” level of cheating some of you tried to do (and even did) during the aptitude test.
Meanwhile, ^^^ your “guy” is digging his hole deeper. “Jump am pass” Funny enough, it happens with some top organizations, not NLNG though. As for the bolded, it's been duly noted. |

I wouldn't want to entertain a "session" with you, but as already earlier established, NLNG only conducts physical assessments at their centers. Think of those that had to take flights down to Nigeria, why wasn't it done "virtually" since they were "indisposed"? I, for one would prefer doing it virtually if there is an option that allows that. Once again, verify before posting. Thank you and God bless. JobsLever: That's if it is virtual for those that might be indisposed. |

Qatar was pumping around 77–80 million tonnes a year before all this blew up (they'd already halted production earlier this month after the initial attacks/drone stuff). Losing 17% of that is massive, easily the biggest single disruption we've seen in LNG in ages, with repairs said to take around 3-5 years from reports. Thankfully, because of these activities, we (NLNG) might likely be able to cover a little bit of the gap created, but we're still far off from achieving close to half of what Qatar LNG produces. So, even if Train 7 comes online, demand would be crazzyyy. Still, let it just come online already abegggg. Let them need about 1000 GTs this time around. airsaylongcome: “Bad” as it may sound, the recent “activity” on Qatar Gas is good news. Hopefully “we” can meet the shortfall arising from that “activity”. 22m mtpa is really too small for “us”. Train 7 needs to be online like yesterday.
Hopefully AC news comes soon for you guys.
I’m reading that the “activity” took out 17% of Qatar LNG, approximately 12.5m tons per year. That’s huge! |

Log in credentials for AC??!!! That's a new one. Man, do you just intentionally try to get on nerves? Verify your contents at least before you post. You can't be trying your best to confuse the greater number of us here. Once again, all prospective AC candidates and guests viewing for fun purposes, take everything this moniker says with a pinch of salt. Adios!! JobsLever: Based on feedback from candidates who have gone through the NLNG recruitment process, the time between receiving the Assessment Center invitation email and the actual assessment is usually quite short—typically between one and three weeks.
Here’s what you should know:
1. Assessment Center Invitation Email
When NLNG sends out the invitation email, it usually includes everything you need: your login credentials, instructions, the venue (if it’s a physical assessment), the date, and the time of your Assessment Center.
2. Preparation Window
Once the invitation is sent, most candidates have one to three weeks to prepare. Some candidates have even reported getting as little as one week’s notice, so it’s important to be ready to start preparing quickly.
3. Assessment Center Date
NLNG usually organizes multiple batches on different dates, so your exact Assessment Center date may vary depending on your batch.
Tips to Make the Most of Your Preparation Time
1. Practice case studies and group exercises A lot of candidates use the Assessment Center study material to get ready. You can access it here: https://selar.com/nlngassessmentcenter
2. Brush up on NLNG corporate knowledge Learn about their history, operations, and core values. This can really give you an edge during group discussions or interviews.
3. Get your documents ready Make sure all your identification and credentials are organized and ready to go before the screening day.
Because the notice period is usually short, many candidates start preparing right after completing the NLNG Aptitude Test, so they’re not caught off guard when the invitation email arrives. |

Now this is more like what you use AI for -generic purposes and not job-specific or insider - related experiences. JobsLever: The STAR technique is a simplified method used to answer interview questions clearly and effectively, especially behavioral interview questions. These are interview questions where employers ask you to describe a real situation from your previous experience, such as:
“Tell me about a time you solved a problem.”
“Describe a time you worked in a team.”
“Give an example of when you handled pressure.”
The STAR method helps you structure your answer so it is organized and convincing.
Meaning of STAR
STAR stands for:
1. Situation (S)
Explain the background of the story.
Where did it happen?
What was going on?
What challenge existed?
Keep it brief but clear.
Example:
“In my final year at university, I was part of a group project where we had only 2 weeks to complete a research report.”
2. Task (T)
Describe your responsibility or goal in that situation.
What were you expected to do?
What was your role?
Example:
“My role was to coordinate the team members and ensure the report was completed before the deadline.”
3. Action (A)
Explain the specific steps you personally took to address the situation.
This is the most important part of your answer.
Example:
“I divided the work into sections, created a timeline, and organized daily check-ins to track progress.”
4. Result (R)
Describe the outcome of your actions.
What happened?
What did you achieve?
Did you learn something?
Whenever possible, include numbers or measurable results.
Example:
“We completed the report 2 days early and received one of the highest grades in the class.”
Example of a Full STAR Answer
Question: Tell me about a time you solved a problem.
Situation:
During my internship at a small firm, we experienced delays in responding to customer emails.
Task: I was responsible for assisting the customer support team.
Action: I suggested creating a shared response template and organizing emails by priority.
Result: Response time improved significantly, and customer complaints reduced within 2 weeks.
Why Companies Use the STAR Technique
Many employers, hiring managers or recruiting agencies (especially in oil and gas, banks, and multinational companies) use this method because STAR helps them see:
1. Your problem-solving ability
2. Your teamwork skills
3. Your leadership qualities
4. Your real-life experience
Companies like NLNG, TotalEnergies, and ExxonMobil often ask behavioral questions that can be answered using the STAR technique.
Simple Tip:
In interviews, always spend most of your time on the Action and Result parts. That is what interviewers/assessors care about most. |

Once again JobsLever, he (airsaylongcome) doesn't need to prove anything to you. He has given his experience over and over and over again. Check out the 2013, 2022 and even this 25/26 GT threads and you'd see all of them. If you're still adamant, I could provide links man. At this point, you just need to leave. Stargurl20 even mentioned that she bought your so called "helpful e-book" and it was just AI jargons. You could do better by learning from the experience of people on this thread, re-adjusting certain things in your e-book and getting facts out there rather than the whole "clownery" you've been pouring out here. Going as far back as 13 years ago, you would see airsaylongcome's posts to show you he isn't merely here for cruise. I have no problem with you tryna make your "daily 2k", but you've got to sell facts rather than constitute nuisance man. A word is enough for the wise... JobsLever: He couldn't even explain his experience at the NLNG assessment center instead him dey give una ebook when no get solution only scenarios to dey download e dey sweet una because na free. |

Yup, I mentioned it and that AI joker took it to a whole noda level - talking about some "Motivational Alignment Profile" and even taking the term "map" literally. I'm still surprised that we've gotten to page 37 of this thread. How did we even skip pages 33 to 36?? airsaylongcome: I dey tell you. In retrospect, I feel like I should have just let the comment about the MAP linger unanswered. That way “Una mentor” would not have had to use AI for CEB and SHL. It didn’t feel right not to answer though. I remember one moniker saying that people were sleeping on the MAP and “it” went on a tangent about Motivational [s]Assessment[/] Alignment Profile or something like that. I don’t remember the moniker that mentioned the MAP again but I was kinda impressed they hunted the material down on their own. Says a lot about their drive and initiative.
Edit: It was UcBren that called the MAP out in their post here: https://www.nairaland.com/8515356/nlng-recruitment-2025-2026/29#138607835 |

Top of the morning to you and a Happy new month as well NLNGOFFERLETTER: Blessings of the new month colleagues-in-the-cooler.
Remain blessed I mean, it's usually "Viewing this thread: airsaylongcome, Nimora and 5 guests..." 😄😄 Nimora: Peeping Tom ke? You’re tripping 😂 don’t read too much into it. Man, I meant Multiple Assessment Portfolio. How does the "Motivational Alignment Profile" even help in the forthcoming stage...jeeezzz!! JobsLever: Common Mistakes Candidates Make When Answering Motivational Alignment Profile (MAP)
Unlike aptitude tests (which evaluate ability), MAP assesses:
1. What motivates you at work 2. Your preferred work environment 3. The type of tasks you enjoy 4. What drives your performance 5. Cultural fit with an organization MAP helps employers understand whether your personal motivations align with the job role and company culture.
How It Works 1. Usually 100 to 150 short statements 2. You rate how much each statement describes you 3. Format: “Strongly Agree” to “Strongly Disagree” 4. Takes about 20 to 30 minutes 5. No right or wrong answers Examples: “I enjoy working in competitive environments.” “I prefer structured tasks with clear procedures.” “Recognition motivates me more than financial reward.”
Common Mistakes Candidates Make When Answering MAP (Motivational Alignment Profile)
A. Trying to “Game” the Test Some people think: “Let me choose what I think the company wants.” Problem: MAP detects contradictory patterns. Example: Strongly Agree: “I love taking risks.” Strongly Agree: “I avoid uncertainty.” Strongly Agree: “I prefer stable routine.” That combination looks confused. B. Choosing All Leadership Answers Not every position requires high dominance. High leadership with low teamwork can look: 1. Overbearing 2. Hard to manage 3. Not collaborative 4. Companies want balanced professionals, not superheroes. C. Ignoring Cultural Fit NLNG values:
1. Accountability 2. Performance ownership 3. Results orientation If your answers show: 1. Low drive 2. Low responsibility 3. Low initiative You may not progress to the NLNG Assessment Center. D. Being Too Neutral Too many neutral answers can suggest: 1. Low self-awareness 2. Low engagement 3. Unclear motivation 4. Use neutral only when genuinely accurate. E. Overthinking Every Question Motivational Alignment Profile (MAP) is not an IQ test. Your first instinct is usually the most accurate. Overthinking leads to inconsistency. |

Exactly!! A huge chunk of what I'm focused on is work for now. I'm at least gaining some form of experience while preparing for whatever comes as a result of this assessment. If you've noticed, I haven't been all that active. I occasionally view once and get going. It's early and it's the weekend, so I decided to "put pen to paper". airsaylongcome made mention of the SHL MAP and it just felt like it went under the radar. That material is 💯 % useful. NLNGOFFERLETTER, please and please, be with us every step of the way. You and @Airsay are doing a whole lot on this thread - the equivalent of changing lives. TrafalgarESQ: I agree with this.
