Guess I may have to do this, but what will change being that with repeated calls and emails they claim to have sent me temporary password to their emails which I never have received (inbox, spam, all checked ). Besides they said by August a new system will be replacing Ustravelsdoc -how then can one reconcile this issues. hmmmn ! I presently am the only one with a date.
I wonder if there is any other route to this and hoping this will not impact already paid MVP Fees for d kids which am not sure are linked to their applications etc.
I think I missed it a bit when I took a few "lines/advise" from Commenters here stating that each applicant must have a CGI profile at the onset only to learn much later that its not so for minors. I would have just completed the whole thing on my profile with kids as dependants going along which I was doing before the update and other complexities here that got me to this point.

Yes I know this number and have been calling sane and even sending emails and they claim to have sent in password which I have NEVER received be it my inbox , spam ,junk nothing and looking like no way to resolve this problem.

Please How is the best way to apply for ones kids (who are minors) for a visiting visa and what are the chances of success. I will appreciate if I can get details of essential documents that may be required for them. Please note that their Mum already got her Visa and is supposed to travel with them. Also reason for travel is to visit their siblings schooling there. please what are the chances and documentation.

Hello Gurus ,

Please if you are unable to login into your CGI Profile suddenly a the platform keeps rejecting email and password you have used and you have called and sent emails to their Customer care and they keep saying they have sent you temporary passwords to your email and you are NOT receiving it and have checked your Junk/Spam mails nothing. What Else can the person do or How else can one contact them to enable one regain access to CGI profile to schedule his Appointment. Its already exhausting I must say. please help required.

1. After updating, wait for 72hrs (or 3-days) and logback to your cgi. Click on "appointment " and it will give you options to ; either download appointment or e-mail appointment.

2. Any of the options you chose above will give you opportunity to print our a new visa appointment letter which will contain your new DS-160 confirmation number.

This was my continuation of the last recommendation given as seen below attached.
However after going through the process and logging in my own DS160 number was updated but it did not reflect appointment Coverage for the 3 of Us (that’s my kids inclusive)
I tried then to reach out to their helps desk requesting possible lining of them to my appointment Scheduled already and they informed that that will not be possible as “ they both have their Individual Profile already and cannot be linked to mine. Meanwhile their profile created on CGI am unable to Access it yet and have called their helpline for a new password which they will say they will send but have not done till now. Intend to still call them though.
As of now I don’t know what their own application status is especially considering I have filled another Ds160 for them both.
Just thought I should provide this update .

** Do not cancel your own appointment but you will fill a new DS-160 in order to merge all of you together .

1. Now, start another DS-160 form for you as the principal applicant and the parent and after the final submission, do not exit the session. Then on the " Thank You" page that follows the confirmation page, you will see an option to create a family application. This 2nd stage will now complete some parts of the DS-160 for each of your kids by linking your VISA applications (DS-160s) together.

2. Now, go back to your own CGI portal and login, after logging in click on profile and update with your new DS-160 confirmation number from number 1 above then log out. Log back after 3 days in order to print out another VISA appointment letter.

3. With the number 2 above, you are now eligible to attend your present visa appointment alone and submit your kids visa application same day because they are excempted from interview as minors.

** Before number 1 above, you must have filled a separate DS-160 form for your kids with any new email addresses. And if the consular really want to see your kids physically you might be place on 221g and be ask to bring them afterwards.
Use another email for the kids. U can create for each of them.

* Being aware that I as principal applicant had already scheduled an Appointment for myself , If I proceed to complete a NEW DS160 form will I be required to pay a New Visa Fee to enable my appointment remain . Please I need to know if I will be required to pay a new visa fee if I fill another form as I already have an appointment scheduled.

Also in filling a New Ds160 for my kids as mentioned with new emails for them I will like to ask.
In their initial Ds160 forms I had used my alternate email for both. But in trying to create a CGI Profile for them before I used their personal emails.
Now that am am no longer using a CGI profile for them and to complete a New DS 160 form for them Can I Use that their Individual Personal emails or I need an Entirely new email created for both of them ?

**When I proceed with the above guidelines provided and then Update my profile with my New Application DS 160 number and subsequently print the the New appointment confirmation document will this New document reflect that it’s for 3 Persons and payment details therein reflect amount for the 3 of Us ?

Again,I just need to reconfirm your last point stated of the children non appearance as there are information that in Nigeria for the Tourist Visa ‘EVERYONE will need to Appear’ please reconfirm this. And if yes is there a modification as to how I should proceed with the above guide to my application.(kindly advise)

and if it is true does it mean each one needs to have an appointment Confirmation slip.. please kindly assist clarify.

Please I want understand something.

Did you try to open a new profile for them with new emails?

Did you remove them as dependents in your own profile? If no then you have to do that.

Did you at anytime use agents to apply for visas? If yes, it is possible the email was changed. You might have to ask the agent.

Also check your spam box for important emails.

Okay to answer the questions ,
1. I actually did use New emails (in their name) to create their own profile on Traveldocs. It was in the process of fill in their details to enable me schedule their appointment I got the error message of existing profile and later could no longer log into their profile.

For which I have sent complaint emails for both of them to travel docs support using both of Thems emails and including their data pages and MRV receipts .

2. I on my own profile on travel docs when trying to schedule appointment included their details (as dependants) but later Removed them and booked for only me.
However I included their details in my Ds-160 as people I will be traveling with. They are both under 14.

Also worthy of note is in their Ds-160 completed their is a provision for email it was my second email I used in completing their form not their personal emails.

So this is my situation now and not knowing how to proceed further to enable me schedule appointments for both of them as I did mine.

1. Possibly yourself have created cgi profile on Traveldocs with two different emails but cgi help-line is still your last resort.

2. No , DS-160 is a free online VISA application form which you can fill as many time as you want in the case of error or you want to add additional information, and you do not have to pay any money to do that.

3. For under 14 children (minors), they are not required to appear for physical interview but, perhaps you still need to book an appointment for them in order to be able to submit their visa applications, [/b]Therefore, follow the instruction number 2 i gave you in my previous answer then [b]fill individual DS-160 form for them and print out the confirmation pages.

4. Then schedule your VISA application appointment and indicate your kids as travel companions. There on step 6 you will see : Please click “Add by Name” or "Add Existing Applicant" if you have a group/family member (including a child) who needs to apply for a visa with you.

5. [/b]The above steps gives you authority to submit their visa applications ie travel passports, mrv receipts, Ds-160 confirmations, birth certificates and other evidences of biological parenting on the day of your VISA appointment.

Completing a New Ds-160 form for both kids , firstly the email to be filled some place herein does it have to be their personal email or mine in this Ds-160 (as in their present Ds-160 I had put in my alternate email for them while completing theirs) ?
Also will this allow for new access on travel doc (considering it’s their same personal email to be used as earlier used ) or am I supposed to use My email or what to access Traveldocs afterwards to schedule an appointment (don’t know if I need to do this again)

Also please note that I had already scheduled my own appointment, So do I need to Reschedule Mine now to enable me follow through No.4 point you stated above or what now?

While noting that in my own DS-160 application completed at the time, I had stated them as my travel companion and had put in their requested details just thought to mention.

1. I want to think that you or your agent have used an information (perhaps your previous email) for your kids that you have forgotten and it's now reflecting as duplication ?

2. Why not start all over for your kids ? I mean fill another DS-160 and after final submission do not exit on the "Thank You Page... and start family application for your kids ? this will automatically complete some parts of the DS-160 for each family member but everyone still needs their own individual DS-160.

3. If your kids are under 14 year olds they actually does not need to appear for interview, therefore you will have to submit their visa application on the day of your own visa interview.

This subject is a complex lesson to be completed. Call the CGI.

However I need some clarification
By email used for them earlier is this the email filed in their Ds-160 or the one used to create profile on Traveldocs you are referencing for the error?

If I fill a new Ds-160 will I need to pay another Visa Fee for them ?
Also just to mention they are under 14 years. So given what you stated does it mean with my own scheduled appointment I can go for interview with their application form and Visa payment evidence . Please kindly enlighten me on this point 3.

Also like you suggested I will still try to call them but please note I have sent them emails on these issues earlier today but I don’t know if they respond and and when they will resolve .like their turn around time to provide feedback.

please am still awaiting resolution of access to my kids profile and error message of "their details being linked to an exiting profile in database. which the email quoted happens to be my mail though. I tired calling and speaking with the Agents (several I spoke to as a matter of fact)and each promising to send temporary password without doing it and have just recently sent an email respectively for both to their support email.
Please I want to know how long from the date of sending email with their Biodata and error messages would they get back/resolve ?
I really dont know why its hard for them to resolve the above issues.

Also I have gotten for my own Scheduling approval to book a date, so please given the situation can I Schedule mine first or wait to resolve their issues? also is their a time lapse to when I can use the link sent to me to schedule mine? As I will ordinarily want to attend the Visa Interview same time with my children.
Kindly assist me our Seasoned Colleagues on the platform on how to proceed further.

Please I want you to know I had already filed individual DS160 for each one of us before this issue came up.
Also sequel to the above message I got while trying to scheudle him I had gone ahead to confirm the transfer and then uploaded his data page as I was requested to do same earlier today . And got a message that “I will be contacted by email once my request is approved and my account is changed” this I got on my Son’s profile.

I called the embassy today and after much difficulty in getting someone to attend )as they kept saying the network was not clear) he requested for my son biodata details and then asked me to log back to his profile and fill in his details in the the Ustravel doc platform to schedule appointment but I tried logging in with his details but was getting error message attached below , even though am sure of the email and password inputted.
I then left it.

Case 2
My daughter I created a profile for her and after filling her details I got a message on the screen again as I did get for my son above saying details match an already existing profile on database that do I want to transfer also. So I just logged out at this point .

I went to sign in to my Own profile which is still awainrg their feedback mail on approval to continue with appointment schedule by the way . I selected the option of UPDATE Profile but it did not provide me with dependent details of any sort that will allow me edit . I didn’t see my kids details on my profile on the USTRAVEL DOC.

So please what do I do now?
For my daughter do I still go ahead and accept a transfer and upload her data page?
Am at a crossroad here and need ASSISTANCE to resolve and be able to complete there scheduling and submit their MRV as well .

Looking forward to hearing from you GURUs in the house . So I can get it done with and be sure .

Okay Thank you on this feedback.
I am in Lagos. Also given the options you provided either to remove my child as a dependent on my profile or call the embassy to it, (please I had clicked ‘Transfer’ confirmed and afterwards was told I have been blocked and could not continue anything.
Now please I want to understand better by profile is it on the appointment booking platform ? And what is the implications of removing them from my profile?
Remember also I mentioned I had submitted my own appointment booking and got a message that the will get back to me if approved.

Is this how it must work to enable us have All our appointments.

Also please what is the implication of this as they are 2 kids actually and both are minors and I had included their details in my DS 160 application.

Please I need your guidance to understand the situation now better and how to resolve to enable all 3 of us get appointments.

Please I have tried now to use a different email to create a profile for my kids but on filing their detail I got this message " our personal details match the profile which already exists in our database. The User id of that profile is "my own email was quoted here" . If you created this profile in the past,you have the option to TRANSFER your Account to this previous one in order to avoid any inconveniences that may arise from having multiple accounts."

The above I got when I tried creating a separate profile for my child. So what do I need to do to proceed. I had submitted my own request earlier awaiting their confirmation .

Yes. You will input the numbers when you get to that part. Please keep that paper well. Intact photocopy it. Also scan to your email. You will present it on the day of your interview.
As per unblocking use another browser to do it. Or just call the embassy for further clarification.

Hello Guys, just to share to also serve as an encouragement to others as I too have also observed and learned from counsel, support provided here on the platform. Also to add that you play your part being trying to put in the appropriate documents to the best of your ability and then most importantly " The GOD Factor " !
Submitted Application Sept 15, 2023 , Biometrics OCT 13, 2023, PPR on 27 March 2024 .first time applicant ! Thank God it ended in praise and wish those expecting the Best of Luck too !
