Whether you change imei or not, the subscription will work with your phone (my sister still use it on her Sony z tablet) but it's possible changing imei will zone you away from the double billing.

This subscription is still not concurrent, you still have to check if you are eligible and I noticed that eligibility is now based on how long you have subbed on the sim. Airtel only make abandoned sim eligible like I sub on airtel last this april though I do buy credit and call with it now they have made my sim eligible for the offer this August but I am afraid of the double zapping will stick with glo for now

The airtel plan is for blackberry OS 6.0 and below when it was rolled out, but as it worked for Android then and airtel didn't want to block it, it was decided that if you are using it on non BB device, it will be double billing.

The actual code is *440*16# then airtel came with the double recharge promo at the same #1500 for 6gig valid for 60days with *440*161# but eligibility was not always, if you sub normal in January, you may be eligible February but won't have the chance for the next subscription month.

As many started buying this data, airtel now turned it to 30days for the 2 for 1 offer, which really annoyed customers then.

To check eligibility then we used *440*440# but even till now, it's double billing for non BB phones especially when you are downloading.

For those that change their imei number to BB did you think it will work well on their device
