Nnamdi Kanu on Wednesday August 28, reacted to Second Republic lawmaker, Junaid Mohammed's threat of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) paying with its blood if they attack President Buhari abroad.

Firing back at Junaid Mohammed over the threat, the leader of the proscribed IPOB group stated that the elder statesman was talking like a ‘captured bandit in police custody’. Nnamdi further affirmed that IPOB does not bow to threats like other socio-cultural groups which include Ohaneze Ndigbo and PANDEF.

He tweeted;

“Rather than running his mouth like a captured bandit in police custody, Junaid Mohammed should allow Jubril to make a public appearance in Japan, only then will he understand how insanely fanatical we are about Biafra.

“IPOB is not Ohaneze or PANDEF that bow to threats.”

This is coming after Nnamdi Kanu directed IPOB members to ‘arrest’ and ‘disgrace’ President Muhammadu Buhari in Japan, where he is currently attending the seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7).

PoliticsMajority Of Nigerians Are Poor – Buhari by ucvibes(op): 10:11pm On Aug 20, 2019
President Muhammadu Buhari has told his Ministers designate that majority Nigerians are extremely poor.

President Buhari said this on Tuesday at the end of a two-day Presidential Retreat for designate and senior Government officials.

Here is the full text of the President’s speech:

After two days, we have come to the end of a successful retreat. However, you will agree that our work is just beginning.

These last two days have been very instructive for me personally, because I have had the opportunity to know many of you new Ministers-Designate better. I was also pleased to see that you have all equally enjoyed debating and deliberating on the various challenges before us over the next 4 years.

Ladies and Gentlemen, majority of our people are poor and are anxiously hoping for a better life. A Nigeria in which they do not have to worry about what they will eat, where they will live or if they can afford to pay for their children’s education or healthcare.

Our responsibility as leaders of this great country is to meet these basic needs for our people. As I mentioned yesterday, this Administration inherited many challenges from our predecessors to mention a few:

A country in which 18 local governments in the Northeast were under the control of Boko Haram

Decayed infrastructure in which our rail lines and roads had severely deteriorated;

A rent seeking economy that depended largely on oil revenues and imports

Significant unpaid pensions, subsidy debts, legacy contractor debts. I can go on and on.

In our first term, we laid the foundation to rebuild our country. We recaptured those 18 Local Governments previously held by Boko Haram, whose activities are now limited to sporadic attacks against soft targets.

Our investments in road and rail infrastructure are without precedent, and many of you can attest to this. We also focused on diversifying the economy from oil towards agriculture and industrialization.

Despite reduced revenues from oil and gas compared to past governments, we have broadly addressed many of the legacy debts they left behind.

Whilst we have obvious successes to celebrate, the challenges ahead are significant as you would have observed in detail over these two days. Nevertheless, from the quality of the deliberations, it is clear that solutions to our problems are well researched and have been well articulated.

We have discussed solutions relating to addressing Insecurity; Macroeconomic Stability; Agriculture and Food Security; Energy Security for Petroleum products and Electricity; Transportation and Critical Infrastructure; Industrialization and SME Development; Human Capital Development; Social Inclusion; Anti-Corruption; Housing Financing and Consumer Credit.

Public service is not easy work, and at times it can be thankless. I am therefore charging you all to see this opportunity to serve as an honour, to give your best to deliver on this mandate, for a more prosperous Nigeria, not for some, but for all Nigerians.

You will find that working collaboratively and purposefully will enable us to achieve quicker results, recognizing that four years is not a very long time. For the new Ministers, make sure you engage and benefit from the experience of the older Ministers and former Governors in the cabinet.

In terms of coordination, kindly ensure that all submissions for my attention or meeting requests be channeled through the Chief of Staff, while all Federal Executive Council matters be coordinated through the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

I would like to thank the Office of the SGF for coordinating this successful Presidential Retreat. I would also like to thank the National Assembly leadership, the Party Chairman, Chairman of the Governors Forum, and resource firms, for the active engagements and contributions.

The Department of State Services (DSS) has challenged the Federal High Court order, allowing it to detain Omoyele Sowore, convener, #RevolutionNow protests, for 45 days against its request of 90 days pending investigation. The DSS argued that its investigation so far revealed that “RevolutionNow” was allegedly a smokescreen for the actual intention of Sowore and his allies “to topple the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
The DSS said it was engaged in a painstaking investigation of activities of Sowore, the candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the last presidential election, in view of the quantum of evidence so far gathered and may return to court to seek an extension of the 45 days granted by the Abuja-based court to detain him.
The security agency made this known in a fresh document it filed at the Federal High Court on Monday, August 20, in response to an application by Sowore. In the counter-affidavit deposed to by Godwin Agbadua, an official of the DSS, it was stated that Sowore was arrested on reasonable suspicion of having committed a capital offence, upon his alleged involvement in terrorists’ activities. The DSS said Sowore planned to violently change the government through the hashtag RevolutionNow. Going further, it added that Sowore hid under the cover of call for mass protest with the hashtag RevolutionNow to mislead unsuspecting and innocent members of the public into joining him to topple the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria “In his plot to topple the government the respondent/applicant held series of meetings with members at a prescribed terrorists‘ organisation, Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) with a view to mobilising strong forces to realise his agenda at changing the government

Is your partner cheating on you? In this post I’m going to share with you 13 Clear Signs that Show your Partner is Cheating on Yo

Your Partner Guards Their Phone Or Computer And Does Not Allow You To Touch It
I know everyone has a right to their own space and privacy, I’m not saying you should over step your boundaries but when you start noticing your partner over guards their phone/ computer or gets mad at you when you try to touch their phone, this might be a sign. When your partner starts hiding or deleting certain texts from their phone with the excuse of not wanting to bother or stress you out with those texts or they put a password on their phone/computer, look out! Your partner might be cheating.

Your Partner Changes Their Tone Of Voice When Talking On Phone
A recent study shows that people change their tone of voice when speaking to a romantic partner, normally if it’s a male partner you might notice a sudden rise in his pitch when he is speaking on phone, while for female folks you will notice a fall in their pitch.

Your Partner Insists On Doing Things Alone
You and your partner used run errands together, ride together to the store to get something but now your partner all of a sudden decides to do most of those things alone, they might start given the usual excuse of not trying to bother or stress you out or maybe you’re not interested in going to the store. If this pattern continues, something might be up.

When Your Partner Starts Paying More Attention To Their Physical Appearance
When your partner starts buying new cloths or starts going to the gym, this could be that your partner just want to look and feel better or it could be that they want to impress someone else especially when they stop giving you their usual compliments, even if your partner is focusing on looking good and better without sharing these goals with you, look out something might be wrong somewhere.

When Your Partner Starts Comparing You With Someone Else
If your partner is always comparing you with someone else or is always pointing out to you why the other people’s relationship is working and not yours. Whenever your partner starts doing this they might be trying to justify their cheating behavior and the try to blame you for the failed relationship, look out for this.

When Your Partner Starts Suspecting Your Every Move
You dress up to go out, your partner starts wondering and starts asking who you are going to see, someone calls you on phone, your partner starts asking who it was, you smile at someone your partner sees it as flirting, every single move you make your partner starts asking suspicious question or starts to suspect you. This normally happens when your partner starts cheating and they think you are doing the same.
