JAMB FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP 2017/2018

Have you heard of the JAMB Foundation Scholarship? Eligible full-time Nigerian students are awarded the scholarship which covers tuition, book allowance,accommodation and stipends. The scholarship is renewed every year until graduation for existing awardees while new applications, when advertised, are welcome from full time students in their second year or third year of study depending on the course duration.

Eligibility For JAMB Foundation Scholarship Application 2017/2018

The students must be in their second year at the time of application if they are studying a course that maintains a four year duration while Third year students studying courses within or above five years could also apply.

for the mean time, application is only open to Nigerian university undergraduates.


Deadline for the application

Application Begins October 31st 2017 and Ends January 31st 2018

Incomplete\falsified applications will be disregarded.

*THE 2017 JAMB AMBASSADORIAL SCHOLARSHIP REGISTRATION FOR UNIVERSITY ASPIRANT/UNIVERSITY UNDERGRADUATE IS ONGOING*

The online registration process for the 2017 JAMB foundation ambassadorial scholarship has commenced. All prospective applicants who have met all stipulated requirement /qualification could apply following the underlisted guidelines.

*ELIGIBILITY :*

• ALL UNIVERSITY APPLICANTS WHO ATTAINED THE 2017 JAMB UNIVERSITY cut off mark

• 100level / 200level students of courses below a five year duration in any NUC approved university(No course exemption)

• 300level Students of courses within or above a five year duration in any NUC approved university(No course exemption)

*REGISTRATION PROCEEDURE :*

*• STEP 1:* Interested applicants could log on to the scholarship registration page at http:///Jambscholar and click on the scholarship page

*• STEP 2:* Fill in all required fields and upload all required documents(All upload should be in should have a maximum file size of 2MB)

*• STEP 3:* Preview your entries and ensure they aren’t falsified before clicking the submit button

*• STEP 4:* All candidates are to finalize submission by making the online payment of N1,000 only which is taken to be your registration/examination fee.

*• STEP 5:* within a time frame of 12 hours after a successful registration, candidates would receive a confirmation Email/SMS acknowledging their application and notifying them of their E-CBT exam schedule .Candidate are advised to input functional Email addresses and correct phone numbers while registering online.

*THE EXAM:*
All verified Applicants would write an E-CBT Exam at any Location of their choice with the Aid of a computer that is actively connected to the internet.(NB if you must use a mobile phone you are advised to do so on an *Android device* that isn’t below the *5.0 version*,you are also advised to make use of a *Google Chrome browser* for a better browsing experience.)
Every registered Applicants would be granted Access to the Exam portal. On ENTRY, candidates are to fill in their login details before they could fully participate on the exam platform. The unique ID/Candidate’s login details would be sent to registered Emails and mobile phone lines few hours to the Exams.
Candidates would be Examined with four different Subjects out of the following ; *Basic mathematics* *, word problems* *,Basic science, Current Affairs, Use of English and history* . The course combination would vary depending on his/her current Discipline(Course)/Applied discipline.
NB:Scholarship would only be awarded to candidates who attains the benchmark score for the year 2017.

*SCHOLARSHIP GRANT :*

• TUITION GRANT: N100,000 PER SESSION

• ACCOMMODATION: N50,000 PER SESSION

• STIPEND: N4,000 PER SESSION (N192,000 PER SESSION)

• TOTAL GRANT /PER SESSION = N350,000 ONLY

[color=#000099][/color]The federal university of technology owerri is yet to repair damaged properities inflicted by students during the first violent protest to ever occur in the institution.
According to the university History,the institution is known to be one the country's foremost & presitigious university of science & technology,known to be extremely peaceful with very little or no traces of cult activities ,the universtity is known for accute diligince to Academic activities as well as christain Fellowship activities.all these has been the legacy held for the past 37years of its existence.
University students on campus are begining to question the school management consigning the delay in repairing properties damaged during the last protest even after the #12,500 surcharge fee payment of over 40,000 students.
Adding to the dilema,a part of the ICT building of the institution caugt fire to the roofs on the 30th day of june 2017 which contributed to the university issues,this building is yet to be rehabilitated and the post ume registration is ongoing.
