Because lagos was capital and remains economic capital. Has the busiest seaport and border to west African countries.

Alot of Tinubu supporters don't see the picture, they don't understand that Shettima is working for Atiku Abubakar.

Those who were supporting osibanjo felt insulted, and can't get themselves to vote a Tinubu Shettima ticket.

Tinubu already lost osibanjo supporters. I don't even see osibanjo actively campaigning for a man that publicly insulted him on national TV.

Now he said Peter Obi calls lagos home instead of awka, believing that it was an attack on Peter Obi. However, what he failed to realise is that, that statement was an attack on all Nigerians who are not from lagos state but reside in Lagos state.

People who invest their time and resources to earn a living in lagos, are being told that they are there because of Tinubu.

He is telling them that they should either vote for Tinubu or return to their states.

How can you be seeking the votes of all Nigerians and you make such a divisive statement?

Automatically limiting Tinubus support in lagos state to only people from lagos state.

People lagosians who were not really interested in the elections, would have to vote against tinubu, to prove that they are not in lagos because of Tinubu.

Such statements will work in his favour in an Almajiri dominated state. But not a state lagos, that was once capital of Nigeria, which many Nigerians call home like Abuja.

Many lagos residents especially those who are not from lagos state, have suddenly become Obidient. Not because they like Peter Obi, but to defend their right to move and live anywhere as Nigerians.

They will have to vote against Tinubu to end his career, and burry that idea that lagos belongs to Tinubu.

Because once Tinubu looses this election, that noise about tinubu made lagos, will die forever.
