I'm a student currently staying in a boy's quarter. I've been super lonely lately and miss having a pet(I had a pet dog but she passed away) the lady who built and rented out the building I'm currently staying stays next door to me. She isn't actually my landlady, my actual landlord actually stays upstairs, but I don't know what other word to refer to her apart from land lady. She's old, nosy and a busybody and constantly can't mind her business but I don't pay any rent to her and I don't even think she owns the building just that she either built it or owns the land the building is on.
I asked my agent if they allowed pets and he said he didn't know citing that the old lady might not like that but she has loud noisy grandkids and an even louder generator so me having a cat shouldn't be as annoying.
School has really been showing me shege and I've found that I'm painfully lonely and miss having a pet to take care of and to come back home to. I've done my research and calculated my budget, and know I could take care of it so I was just wondering if I could just get the cat and just be careful to hide it and even she finds out about the cat what's the worst thing she could do? And would I be able to still keep it? And any advice I could do would be appreciated. I was thinking of moving but I really like this place, it isn't as terrible built as most modern Nigerian houses and it's close to school too
