Nigeria Engineers are not useless, Nairalanders.Dont ever compare our Engineering graduate with their counterpart overseas.
The learning condition for our Universities are not to be compare with that of USA or Uk. Most of you who have gone through one university
or the other in Nigeria must have some how visit one of the Engineering workshop in the school.what did you see during such visit? I guess the
Equipment you saw where obsolete or not working. Most faculties dont even  have prototypes (models) to teach their student yet you all want Nigeria Universities to produce graduate who will build a Oil Rigs? DREAM ON!!!!! WHERE IS YOUR THINKING CAP BAD MOUTH NAIRALANDERS.
Nairalander's, have you seen nigerian students who had their first degree overseas? They perform really good because all that is required to make them turn out well is provided for them and they are well taught with good field trips.they come out with good grades.some dont ever bother to come back to nigeria since the system here in nigeria will not provide an enabling ground for them to practise.
WE should be proud that our engineer's who were not expose to field trip,who were not taught with basic foundational engineering models,who all thru their schooling were subject to obsolete equipments HAVE STRONG THEORETICAL BACKGROUNG.
By the grace of God i have work in a plant manned by white and blacks.The nigeria working with them are more knowledgeable about the facilties than them.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION NIGERIAN GRADUATES ARE NATURALLY INTELLIGENT IF GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY
