Tareq1105:Nigeria participated in events it has strength in: powerlifting, wrestling, athletics, table tennis etc while Egypt must have gone for more sports. The same Egypt clinching this number of golds may not win one single gold at world level (Olympics). A country like Kenya participating in long distance races ( its strength) will top Africa at the Olympics. Why waste money on sports you know your athletes cannot win? Although Nigeria with over 200 million should be good atleast in 80percent of sports. We have many raw talents in this couny but corruption will not let things be at it is. 4 Likes 1 Share |

vacanci: That person you quoted was trying to be tribalitic. Everybody knows that 'Calabar man' as used by the actor was not a referrence to the city but a general conotation used by people to refer to people from Akwa Ibom and Cross River. I am from Akwa Ibom but anytime I am talking to friends, I refer to myself as a Calabar person. |

This is not kidnapping for ransom. I think it was more ritual killing. The most important 4th hing he was caught. I hope he faces the law. Parents should be careful with their children as well. They should teach their children safety. 1 Like |

Rip to the deceased. There is more to this particular kidnapping. The death body of the girl was released for burial. How did that happened without the kidnappers been traced? According to the last story I read, the father was released. How was that possible and the father could not give details? If the government has the political will to fight banditry. Banditry would have been a thing of the past. 2 Likes |
