postgraduate students of University of Nigeria are now to pay the sum of N100,000 each before taking their Exams. The payment is not the school fees which is paid via the TSA platform. According to a secular posted in different departments and faculties of the University which reads, Effective from 15 April 2017, all post graduate students admitted into the university of Nigeria should pay a compulsory Exam fee of N100,000 each or will not be allowed to take his / her exam. The management of the university may have embarked on the collection of such an illegal exam fee since they do not have access TSA payment system that does not allow the school management access to the school fees of students. while the students are struggling to pay their school fees and the compulsory acceptance fee that amount to N90400 and N25000 respectively, the management of the university is all out to force an illegal fee on the postgraduate student which has drastically reduced the number of intake. Some of the students are threatening for a showdown with the management should they go ahead to force the illegal fee on them. Others are of the opinion that the whistle blower policy should be used to report the matter for appropriate action from the federal government
