We all know Katherine's a horrible person, hence why she went to Hell instead of the other side in S5E15. In her usual way I'm jot surprised she rose up the ranks, and with Cade gone, she's taken center stage to be the baddest evil bitch of all, set to mess with the boys again.

I know Katherine went to hell. But Cade created hell... his psychic abilities literally hold the place. How is that his death did not disintegrate hell?

Remember how Amara used to be the anchor to the other side, and they had to switch to Bonnie after Amara was allowed to die?
Or how vampire compulsions are removed after the vampire dies?

I imagined hell would work the same way. So I don't get why Katherine should be able to rule hell after Cade is dead.

I don't think she's faking it though because there are people like that.
You don't lash out when the heat is on, but you never quite forget the fact that someone hurt you earlier.
