Your friend needs to think more about pleasing God and not displeasing the world. The world will always find fault in your every act, but a clear conscience with God thrives through it all

This can happen when it is isolated 4rm its source of fire. This means once u are a firebrand,do everything possible to remain connected wit the source of power. God is ur source of power & greatest of fires originate 4rm Him. Heb 12:29 says He is a Consuming fire. The fire of God is very fiery. His fire is the one that neutralises all other types of fire. When the 3 Hebrew children were thrown into Nebuchadnezzar's fire which was the hottest fire as that time,nothing happened to them becos the more superior fire was already there b4 their arrival. God's presence turned the enemy's furnace into a suitable environment(Dan 3:19:27). At the presence of the consuming fire,all other fires lose their efficacy. During ordination,we usually pray that the Almighty God will ovevrshadow those ordained. By this we mean that God will rule over them. If a firebrand is isolated 4rm fire for long,it can lose its flame. In addition,a firebrand may lose its heat & become cold if it keeps the wrong company. If u take a firebrand n drop it inside water,what happens? The fire will go out! 1 Cor 15:33 says no matter how good u may be,if u continue to associate wit evil people,it will definitely affect u some day. This is why 2 Cor 6:14 warns us not to be unequally yoked wit unbelievers. We can simply explain Amos 3:3 to mean,Show me ur friends & I will show u who u are. Who are ur friends? When u meet,what do u talk about? Do u talk about soul winning,anointing,expansion of God's Kingdom or u discuss sports,politics,fashion,economy,etc? If u will be a firebrand & sustain it,u must be prepared to review ur friends. Strictly abide by the instructions given in today's reading.
ACTION POINT: Carefully examine all ur friends & prayerfully determine which to drop,& which to retain
