I'll advise you check the UTME brochure different schools have their various specifications for WAEC subject combination and grades. By doing this, you will be open to more options.

Do not forget there are some people looking for where to 'start' this career even if the pay cannot satisfy their needs.
I'll say you should hold on good jobs'll come and you may end up choosing.
Remember to keep applying, attend tests and interview, then pray............then it'll surely come.

You have opportunities in lecturing, meteorology, journalism( writing a column on the newspaper that relates to your field). You can also venture into 'management fields'-If you are good with numbers you can be a statistician, auditor,etc ,but you need professional courses to back them up.
Software designing and ICT are areas you'll be needed. Most of the aforementioned need additional courses.
