I have passed the Personality test, Logical test and most recently the numerical test. I have a background in mathematics (1st and 2nd degree). Trust me this numerical test is one of a hell, coupled with the little time.

For those of you who passed the tests but yet to get an invite , just chill and go about your normal business.you'll be called later maybe this year or next year, cos I'm starting this month while I did my test and medicals march this year... Some last year guys are equally amongst this batch...

Hello guys!! Latest GETS news update!!!

Aftermath of the test we had in May,they slowed down the GETS 2016 recruitment process for some reasons (probably because of inviting some discipline and not inviting others).There were still finalising on what to do next with regards to that issue, that was why the process got delayed up till now.

The cheering news is that they have reactivated the recruitment process which will take another one month or more to conclude. The reason being that, they want to invite Electrical ,Chemical and technical (OND) people for their own aptitude test.
Then after the aptitude test by elect & chemical guys, those who scale through the test will be invited for the interview together with the Mech & mining guys who passed their own test.
They want to have a combined and uniform list containing Mech,mining, elect & chemical for the interview.

In summary, elect & chemical guys should start preparing for their own aptitude test. They will soon receive their test invite in no distance time.

I will not hesitate to update us with the latest news as regards GETS2016 as soon as I get any info in connection with that.

i don't have ideal of technical questions for mechanical engineer but i think knowing about generator would be a good ideal as well or power generally, because they deal with power aspect of base stations .

Then you can aspect question like while do you want to join them or why do you want to leave your present place.

have done two interviews with them but their pay is too small for me. thats why i didnt take their offer. mpi is a nice company anyway.

if you are an electrical engineer , read about electric motor and how generator works.

Their question would be base mainly on whatever your tell them .

expect questions like whats your weaknesses and strength .

very IMPORTANTLY, u must know how to use excel ,they may ask you about vlookup and IF functions.
