After much research, I’ve come to discover that it’s actually a scam. The owners of that website are gathering people’s number for their own personal interest, of which is yet to be revealed.

WhatsApp has clearly stated that any update on their app would be updated on their official website and users would be informed of this update on their respective apps to take action.

Naija Shouters, please stay away from such messages and Share this message to all your loved ones, so they won’t be victims.
