Focus: Don't Envy Sinners

WORD FOR TODAY
No matter how wonderful the life of a man who chose to continue living in sin may appear to be, the fact still remains that his wages hereafter is death. The reward or consequence of an action is not always in the present but hereafter!!!

"Don't envy sinners, but always continue to fear the LORD. For surely you have a future ahead of you; your hope will not be disappointed." (Proverb 23.17-18 NLT)

When you look around you are liable to see men who appear prosperous in their ways despite living in sin. You must never envy them. I have come to know that most people who do evil and engage in several malpractices to make a living or to accumulate things for themselves desperately seek for deliverance from such practices if they have their way.

The Lord is taking you somewhere! You can only be what He wants you to be through righteousness. The path He is taking you through may appear very slow and rugged but it is path of wisdom that leads to life. The likes of Joseph, David, 3 Hebrews, Daniel stood out at a point in their destiny walk and at the later end fulfilled God's plan for their lives.

There is a future end for you! Don't trade it for anything. You can't afford to miss it. You have a unique purpose to fulfill. Don't envy men who chose to disobey God in His principles.

Lord! May I never miss out in destiny in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Sin no matter how wonderful it appears is a reproach; envying sinner can cost a man his glorious destiny!!!
