Awesome777:Pick a later date, If you have more tries, keep checking for an earlier date to reschedule to. |
trav:Check the website and try downloading the appointment letter again. It seems like a technical problem/ server issue. |
How do I contact OIS to get my tracking number to access my confirmation page? I scheduled a pickup. Or is there another way to access the tracking number? |
Mamabella:Oh, it seems that's probably what they were doing last night when the site went down for a bit. Also print out your documents in pdf so you have a copy in case it happens again. Knowing these people, expect anything. Also while I'm here, does anyone know if after you go in for a physical interview and get it approved, do you need to schedule an OIS appointment to pick up your passport in say Port Harcourt, or you simply walk in when it has been delivered and pay the fee? |
Ruby56:You can reach out to them by chat during business hours. Also include an attachment of the May 2025 confirmation page in your ticket. I just got mine reverted back, so you should too. |
Nellyjo:Thanks, I just checked and they reverted mine back to my October 2024 date. |
Nellyjo:So you were able to get back your more recent rescheduled interview date after they changed it? My interview is in a week, so this gives me hope. I already raised a ticket, uploaded my interview confirmation and chatted with them and they said they will escalate it. Since you got your newer date back, I hope they give me my date back too. Did you have to do anything else? |
johnnie08:Please keep us updated or pm if he's able to attend his interview. |
GoldenTAutos:I just noticed the same thing, I've sent a ticket asking them what's going on. I had the October appointment and one in November, the November appointment was just canceled, no refund. I'm guessing they're working on the site and they reverted back to a previous version, let's hope they revert back to the current version again, because this is ridiculous. Like is it a secondary school student that's managing the website, how can they be incompetent enough to let their users see this. |
WTH?! Why did my visa appointment get reverted back to 2025 when I rescheduled to October 2024? Even the new appointment I paid for in November 2024 just got canceled and I don't see a refund on my credit card. I'm still going to the appointment on October 2024, what are these people doing?! |
Hello, What is the process for picking up a visa after an in-person interview from PremiumDelivery OIS Services - PORT HARCOURT? Do you need to create a profile at OIS for tracking? Do you need to make an appointment to pick up? I assume you pay in cash when you pickup? Thanks to anyone who has information on this. |
voiceofpaul:Hi, I can't answer that question accurately because I already used my last reschedule attempt, so I don't have access to available appointment dates. Last I checked earlier last week, there were some November 2024 dates and several May 2025 dates, but I have no idea if these dates are still available. |
Morna:I don't remember seeing the "BOOK POST APPOINTMENT", it might have been there, but I didn't take note of it. But I did see the "slot already used" when I selected "Fake" dates. I'd say take note of the fake dates and check periodically, if any new dates show up, try clicking on them, because they're most likely real dates. Good luck! |
heartlove:I can only speak to what I did, I haven't done a drop-off appointment on the new system. I used Avits for an in person interview at Abuja |
yoyome20:I scheduled my appointment for Abuja |
Masorich:You should have 3 reschedule attempts, so I'd say use your first attempt to pick the earliest dates that's available. It might be Nov 2024, through May 2025, I'm not sure, I don't have any more attempts so I can't see what is available anymore. Once you've secured a decent date, then check periodically for closer dates. How I found my October 2024 date was I noticed that there were additional dates that were added to the already existing fake dates, so I tried one and it got approved. Good luck. |
deegalaxy:If you're referring to Abuja appointments, a lot of the September 2024, October 2024 and December 2024 dates aren't real. I think there was one date in January 2025 that wasn't real either. At first the closest I could get was May 2025, but 4 - 5 days ago before I used my last two reschedules, they populated November 2024 with interview dates (note, on the AVITS system, there were no dates available for November 2024, fake or real). I was able to grab a November 15th, 2024 date. But 4 days ago, I randomly checked and I noticed a few new dates added to October 2024, and just tried it to see what would happen and that's how I used my last reschedule on an October 2024 date. So if you still have a reschedule left, and your schedule is October/November 2025, you can at least get a May 2025 if the October/November 2024 dates are done. Or wait and try for something better, you might get lucky. |
Iman25:Yes, same is happening for me, I think they might be doing some updates. |
dasayo:I paid with a credit card (MasterCard) on the new Avits system. After the payment went through (took about 1 min), I selected my interview location and selected a date which got approved. It then showed I had 3 reschedule attempts, so I used them to periodically get closer dates till my last attempt was used on the October 2024 date. |
I'm surprised there aren't earlier Lagos interview dates. Two days ago I got an end of October 2024 date for Abuja and there were several November 2024 dates available. If you're in a hurry why not use the Abuja embassy instead? |
So I was able to do a drop box and renewed me and my wife's US visas but our daughter's visa had expired for over 48 months. We were able to get an in person interview date for her in October. Do we both have to go in with her or only one parent is enough? She's 12 years old. I did some searching online and I found some information that said children under 14 don't need to attend us visa interviews, but it's Nigeria, so I don't think that applies to us. Thanks for your reply in advance. |
