Im curious to know if anybody here knows of any other forums as diverse, popular and free l ike nairaland?

Omo baba collect 8h which is not very much in the grand scale of things, not worth getting hurt over. lesson learned.

I know a lot of Nigerians Have had experiences with cultists and their ilk but until today I've been lucky to have avoided all direct hostile contact with them.
I was going to top up our prepaid eedc meter ,I had the 5k my dad gave me for the payment and about 800 naira of my own just in case I saw something that needed buying or just for emergencies. On my way there I ,I have to pass through a fuel station/market to get to my destination and that place is usually known for having a lot of thieves but I wasn't worried. mumu me. A guy walked up to me wearing sunglasses and said "hw far " I said "I'm fine" and kept walking , he followed me and said"I dey give you hand you dey snub me , you no remember me again(I did not know this son of Lucifer)but to be Polite I turned back and apologised and he sidled up to me and started asking me stupid questions like where am I going? what am I going to do? talking as if he knew me while I kept trying to place where I might have met this bastard. next thing I knew he was saying we should get out of the hot sun , I refused saying I was in a hurry. I was about to end the whole conversation there and walk away when he said" I don follow you reach this side oya show me something, if you no show me something i go change hand for you, I go stab you knife for here and nothing go happen" now this demon was standing very close to me that he actually could and he had raised his shirt up as he said it to show me the knife he had . he had also removed the sunglasses and was having only one good eye the other looked as if someone had slashed it with a blade or just sheer blunt force. Anyway he took the 800 cause the 5k was in a brown envelope along with some of my dad's papers which I was supposed to give to someone , I guess he really didn't think to check there. My point is,that feeling,of danger ,of being unsafe in your own neighbourhood,of fear(there I said it ) is what pisses me off the most . I hate it.

A cultist took my money this afternoon after threatening to stab me�you have to forgive me for not feeling sympathy
