I am sharing this here because....I don't know why I am sharing this here but ,here we go.
My parents like going to burials and events way too much. we are a lower middle class family,struggling to make ends meet and pay our bills. Always managing and scrounging.
Despite all of this my parents have built an illusion of well being around themselves whenever they travel home to the village. we live in Enugu and my home town is in imo ,not a very far distance but not a close one either. Every month my parents are usually traveling home either separately or together for one event or the other,burial , traditional wedding or meeting. Every time , they end up coming back almost completely broke to start again.
They have made themselves too available for all these events and it pisses me off very much. How can you be going for a burial and you are carrying three chickens"in case visitors come" they said and yet in your fucking home there is nothing. You travel and start dashing out money you don't have!! , Every time they come back something always goes wrong, one of them usually falls sick or gets injured,and KEEP GOING BACK! , showing the"village people" that they are not dead yet!

Did I just see 30k?

And then you find out that you are sidechick 3 .

And here I am feeling like crying but we move . if the struggle was easy everyone would do it.

Good day.

I really need a personality change. I am always depressed when I find my mates doing what I want to do.

I struggle in a lot of things I find myself doing. At work (contrastingly a customer care agent) I am really struggling and I have been warned several times to sit up but I still struggle.

Some of my weakness are.

inarticulate speaking

Not been assertive

lack of confidence ( my voice and body shake when I talk)

I can't communicate well in my local language (this is because of my upbringing) it doesn't sound right in my month.


I don't have real friends!



I have tried alot of things. somebody recommended the usage of drugs (tramadol), alcohol or smoke. But I don't want to try them.

I have posted on this issue with more than 10 different accounts since the last 10 years of which one of it is aknopic.
And I have been reading and watching videos overcoming shyness for more that 10 years now but it seems things still get worst

The most powerful lies are the ones we tell ourselves. my advice is to PRETEND ,ACT ,lies to yourself until the confidence you are pretending to have becomes real. Detach your self and just move . it's what I do and so far it's been working alright.

✅Elite: poor kids at a rich kid school what could go wrong. if you enjoy high school drama,this is for you
