Some of you are just so stupid and lazy in this country as youths. It has gotten to a point where it seems that nothing positive comes from you. For crying out loud the man was just giving reasons why NYSC should not be scrapped and he raised one important point which is 100% correct to the sane people in this country.
He was talking about when Nigeria is in war. The man is a military personnel and his defense is practical. If you call in an economist to speak on the topic, I believe his defense of the NYSC program will focus more on how the NYSC enhance the economic aspect of the country.

Governors of South East and South West Nigeria has collectively banned open grazing of cattle (cows) in their respective states. This has lad to a lot of uproar and disagreements among the cattle herders and their people.

Mr Abubakar Malami, the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, was also not happy with the development.

The Governor of Cross River, Ben Ayade has defects to APC. Tension and commotion filled the atmosphere as Ben Ayade dump PDP for the All Progressive Congress today.

Ayade made his decision to decamp PDP for APC known after a closed-door meeting with other six APC governors that visited him. The meeting which was held in Calabar at the Governor’s office lasted for more than an hour.

The APC governors at the meeting are

Mai Mala Buni of Yobe

Why did Gov Ben Ayade dump PDP and join APC? According to Ben Ayade, the reason he dumped PDP for APC is that he has been badly treated in the last couple of months by PDP. He added that his defection to APC would make cross River state to have more direct benefit from the federal government.

“We need to join hands with President Buhari in his determination to enhance the fortunes of the country.

“It is my responsibility to bring back Cross River to the centre in order to enhance her fortunes.

“I therefore formally declare myself a member and leader of APC in Cross River State.”

YouTube bans TB Joshua Channel. The almighty  YouTube has placed the channel of TB Joshua which has almost 2 million subscribers on an indefinite ban over his 'gay cure' claim.

The pastor was seen in videos giving 'gay cure' to people by 'slapping the spirit of gay' out of them.

A UK based media rights group, OpenDemocracy, reported the gay cure videos of TB Joshua to YouTube. YouTube has therefore bans TB Joshua Channel

Lydia Namubiru, a member of the group while speaking with CNN says:

"We noticed at least seven videos. In one video, T.B. Joshua slapped a woman and her partner whom he called her 'second' (partner) at least 16 times. He said he was casting the 'spirit of woman' out of her.

The woman later told TB Joshua that she no longer felt affection for her partner because of his intervention".

YouTube has responded explaining why it has placed a ban on TB Joshua Channel. A spokesperson on 21st April, 2021 told CNN that TB Joshua's channel was banned because of it's constant breaching of Youtube policy and regulations against hate speech.

"YouTube's Community Guidelines prohibits hate speech and we remove flagged videos and comments that violate these policies. In this case the channel has accumulated three strikes and has been terminated,"

The founder of the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Asari Dokubo, has been suspended by the Eastern Zonal Chapter of the group.

The suspension of Asari Dokubo was as a result of his declaration of his hasty “Biafra de facto Customary Government.”

Some other members of Ijaw Youth Council IYC were also suspended along with Asari Dokubo because they supported him in his Biafra contraption.

The motion to suspend Asari Dokubo was moved by the chairman of IYC, Okrika Clan Festus, at the zonal elective congress of the IYC.

Acrding to him, Dango said Asari Dokubo should be suspended because the failed to consult the leasership of IYC before announcing his Biafra contraption.

He added that Asari Dokubo has been trying to lure other IYC members to join his Biafra adventure for a long time.

According to Okrika Clan Festus, Biafra is a “non-existent sovereign state within Ijaw territories.”

Festus concluded by saying Ijaw Youth Council, IYC may still serve more greater punishment to Asari Dokubo depending on whatever report of the set up six-man disciplinary committee is.

Recently there has been a rumor circulating that there’s a rift between the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari and the APC leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
