What does this really mean?

They are obviously going to use the point grading system. meaning O' level grades will count.

On a second look, RESULT OF SCREENING could still mean FINAL CONCLUSION OF SCREENING.

If you reside in Benin, go to The main auditorium in uniben, they'll rectify it. If you do not reside in Benin, then you'll have to come to Benin a day or two before your screening date so that you can rectify it before the main day. (That's if you haven't been screened already)

You'll be screened. UNIBEN has not stated how grades will be calculated (yet).

Glad to know the University has come out to debunk the spurious "first-batch-screening-is-first-batch-admission" tale. Those yet to be screened should be glued to the UNIBEN website always and not rely on outside/inside sources. Good luck!

It's same everywhere, no cause for alarm.
Just wait for second/third/fourth batch screening.
You'll be screened and if your grades are good enough, You'll be admitted. That's pretty much it.

UNIBEN IS a very secretive school, ever since her conception, cut off marks re neva releasd, unlike this yr. The whole process is new, please gv them a break cos they re trying. Its nt easy to screen people with just olevel nd jamb score

The supplementary form is simply a source of IGR.
Uniben jamb benchmark has always been 200.
They just decided to make a little money from the process because the Federal Government kinda interfered with their post utme business
They had to find a way to balance things up

And the screening may just be a charade..the real benchmarks may be known only to the admission officials..
We may not know...but we know for sure that ''catchment is a tool'' of uniben

Uniben's cutoff is always based on general performance. Until the whole screening is over, no one knows the cut off.

And then again another food for thought: pls all who went for screening, im sure the aspirants on that day for ur course were more than 100. Prove me wrong. I didn't twist a thing. This is just like POST UTME, same way everyone writes post UTME is the same way everyone will be screened. (By everyone I mean eligible candidates)
Anyway, time will tell.

The above was copied verbatim from the university's website. I think what's confusing so many people is the word BATCH . That word has gone hand in hand with the word ADMISSION for so many years that most people now think they are synonyms. Whenever we hear 'BATCH' we take it to mean 'ADMISSION'.
The word BATCH simply means a SET or a collection of things or persons to be handled together. It has nothing to do with admission.
I urge all aspirants to remain calm, it doesn't matter who gets screened first, all that matters is the admission list.
Ignore all the 'my uncle told me, my lecturer told me' stories. Most of these lecturers don't know zilch about the admission process.

GAWD! The kind of stress I went through today... it was funny and not funny. And all to no avail.

We stood outside the centre for almost five hours... until students provoke push security officials commot for entrance.
How I find myself inside the hall was strange.
Where I was, I didn't move. I was moved by the crowd.

Oh boy, come and see pushing and squeezing. To cut the long story short, by 6:20pm they instruscted science ( physical and life) candidate to come back by 9am tommorrow.

I'm having a serious headache...

It's pathetic how these young kids are being toyed around all because they've chosen to get an education.
But Dont worry much, friends, There's light at the end of the tunnel.
