Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates into the School of Foundation Studies, University of Lagos for the 2015/2016 Academic Session. Candidates who have two A-level passes, HND holders and graduates of recognised Institutions are exempted from the entrance examination and may be considered for admission into the School of Foundation Studies.   Highly successful candidates after an approved examination administered by the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB), are eligible for consideration for Direct Entry admission into the 200 Level of the Degree Programmes of the University through JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board), or admission into  the University of Bedfordshire, University of Central Lancashire, University of the West of England, De Montfort University, Leicester, and University of Birmingham, UK and Soochow University, China. This is strictly a non-residential programme. (Please note that the programme does not currently have facilities for the visually impaired).

•         visit the University of Lagos website (www.unilag.edu.ng)
•         on the prospective students menu, click on the School of Foundation Studies
•         go through the  information on subject combinations for completing the Application Form.
•         complete the Pre-Application Form to obtain a payment reference number (PRN) Using the applicant’s names.
For University of Lagos Staff Children:
•         Click the staff biological child link, provide 5 digit staff ID number and select appropriate name on the staff children list to  obtain a payment reference number (PRN).
Cost of Application Form (including on line practice tests (excluding  Bank Charges): N25,000.00  (non-refundable).
Make payment at any of the under-listed banks with the payment reference number (PRN):

the date of UNILAG UNILAG postutme has not yet been fixed cos the form is not yet out.
the form will only be available in all the banks only in UNILAG.
the cost of form might still be at N2000 this year.

If you are changing to chemistry, pls chose the one from education. why, becos I education chemistry is less competitive compared to science chemistry. And again chemistry education cut off mark is lower compared to science chemistry.

But in an exam like this one past questns is very very essential. Using syllabus might be a bit distraction.

The deadline for application into the 2014/2015 Foundation Programmes of the University of Lagos has been extended to Monday, September 1, 2014.


ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of FIVE credits (English Language, Mathematics and three relevant subjects) obtained in one sitting at the SSCE/WASC, GCE/O/L, NECO with results obtained before registration. Note that Engineering, Computer Sciences and Mathematics candidates require credit in Further Mathematics. Candidates must be 16 years and above by September, 2014.

PROCEEDURE FOR COMPLETING FOUNDATION PROGRAMMES e-APPLICATION FORM:

Log on to the University website: http://applications.unilag.edu.ng/, click on the Foundations Link;
Read carefully the Subject Requirements Page to confirm if the applicant is registrable for the proposed course;
Complete the Pre-Application Page to obtain a Payment Reference Number (PRN) using the applicant’s name.
With the Payment Reference Number (PRN), make payment at any branch of: Access Bank, ECOBANK, First Bank, GT Bank, UBA, Union Bank, WEMA Bank or Zenith Bank.
After payment, log on to the University website: www.unilag.edu.ng, click on the Application Form Link. Log in with the Payment Reference Number (PRN) and applicant’s surname (lowercase) as password.
Complete the Application Form, print two copies, stamp and sign them at the faculty of the proposed course of study, submit a copy at the Faculty Coordinator’s Office and come along with a copy for the entrance examination.
