Unilag is yet to release 2015/2016 admission list for undergraduates but some have been uploaded on jamb website already. If you are so anxious and can’t wait for the admission list, then check your admission status on jamb website to ease your tension. If you are part of the students that met either the merit or catchment cut off marks then you should be able to confirm your admission status on jamb website now.

while for o’level maths,english,commerce,government,biology,account,c.r.k and further maths as at last year was required….but dis year not sure since the next admission requirements is under review.

data capture is entering of ur biodata ( information like name, phone number, email, thumb print, matric etc) into the CITS computer system .
you will start paying for hostel when news on hostel application is out.

you have to pay before you continue with ur screening and pls keep o ur date of screening.

Hello people!
Please help me what can I do.... I passed the unilag's cut off marks for geology... And I haven't been given admission yet and someone told me that my jamb combination was wrong. My jamb combination is eng, maths,chem,bio.... They said I should have done physics instead of biology and it was stated clearly in the jamb brochure that its either physics or biology... Please get back as soon as possible.

bro check the list na. The list say statement of result/certificate. Does it mean statement of result or certificate or does it mean both? For 5,it say print out of result that is certified by principal is it necessary since I'm using GCE.

its not both.
since u r using ur GCE, U can got to ur sec sch for principal's signature.

please consider these courses for better chances of admissions next yr.

You can refer to the cut off mark and admissions requirements file before choosing a course.

: Note: if u r going to be 30yr n above on graduation n u want to do NYSC, I'll advice u don't use WAEC result instead GCE or NECO Result.

Here are 5 lessons the admissions experience this year has taught u that u can use to better ur admissions chances for next year:

1. Read harder: use most of ur time 24/7 reading. Solve PQ's
[6:00PM, 8/25/2015] Oge: 2: UTME: Aim for a very high score in UTME probably 230+

3: Change of course/institution: if ur score in UTME falls below ur target change course. Refer to the cut off mark and chose a less competitive course or one with a lower cut off mark.

4: POSTUTME: Stay focused in ur postutme preparation. Most of you did badly in maths. That was why you performed poorly. If mathematics is your weak subject & you are going to write unilag postutme again next year then focus on it. Get a comprehensive maths text book. I will recommend 'integrated mathematics for jamb' by Afolabi'
Get the past questions and 'solve solve solve'

If you can afford a private tutorial for maths call or whatsapp me.
You need to target 25/40 in UNILAG postutme to stand a good chance.

5. Be smart, fast, clever, positive, optimistic & pray to God to crown your effort

If I pass my catchment cut-off score, are you 100% sure my name would be on merit list? , Has anyone heard of a case like that?...maybe someone passed his/her catchment and they don't still see their name on merit

sure, ur name will come out on the merit list.
if the otherwse happens then something went wrong.

wow! u came very close to the cut off mark for philosophy last yr for merit.
which state r u from.
if u r from ekiti, lagos, ogun, osun or oyo then u have some chances for philosophy this yr.
thou the cut off mark for this may change, it can change 4 ur favours.

for those whose score didn't meet up the cut off mark for last yr's own but r gud enough for something, I would suggest & advice u to onsider change of course.

After d merit list is out there will vacant courses made available to change to.

thou most of these courses r from education and most of u don't like education.
few courses r also made available from other department.
its better to be in school than staying at home.
if dont like these courses and can't continue wit it you can still apply 4 next admission even while as a student.

Look @ d cut off mark n see d course ur score is above its cutoff mark

find ur way to oshodi from anywhere you are coming from, ask where to get BRT to yaba ,drop at yaba junction or jibowu,then cross to the other side, you will see some buses with white and blue colour,written in front is university of Lagos, they will take you down to unilag.

its a bus with white and yellow colour, written in front is university if Lagos campus shuttle

for best results use a computer.

Don't encourage that here o. How will u encourage someone to use 6 to 7 years to study education that's not valued in this country. 3 years in college, 1 year to process D.E and 3 years in the university. In fact college of education should be scrapped jare.
If u wanna study education, just try and get 200 in jamb and score something in post jamb, dem go still pick u in most cases for unilag

The schoool is just a short distance down d road going to bariga from UNILAG main gate.

trackable. its opposite St. Finbars college.

Once u get there ask d gate man u are going to the admission office.

Facts!
A large % of applicants from FCE gain admissions into UNILAG thru DE.

FEDERAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (FCE) AKOKA, YABA POSTUTME REGISTRATION IS ALSO ON!

To apply submit your O'level Results along with JAMB Result slip. to the admissions office.

NOTE: FCE does not conduct postutme exam.
