He's Involved In A Deep Romance Scam With A Croatian Older Woman (Age: Over 60 Years) Who He Has Been Deceiving For Over Four (4) Years. He Makes Her Believe That He Is A Psychiatric Doctor Working With The United Nations (UN) Providing Her With FAKE Pictures And Documents Which He Has Always Been Using To Scam The Poor Unsuspecting Woman.

Despite All The Millions Of Naira That This "Aquila Takim Boniface" Have Generated From This Croatian Woman Over The Years, He Isn't Ready To Quit Scamming Her As He Keeps Greedy.

In The Month Of November, 2025; "Aquila Takim Boniface" Came To Me In Despair, Helpless And Hopeless!

He Had Just Lost All His Last 300,000 Naira Online Investment To Another Scam Platform Called: Emaar.


It Was The Money He Wanted To Use To Promote His So-Called Listening Party (A Concept That Will Promote His Songs To More Audience In Calabar).

Now, The Listening Party Was Fast Approaching And He Just Realized That The Emaar Platform Was A Scam As They Folded Up With His Money And Money Of Many Other Victims.


He Came Wanting To Borrow 300,000 Naira From Me.

I Decided To Help Him Out By Taking Him To The Loan Companies That Are In The Neighborhood.

None Could Help Out Because Of Their Terms And Conditions.

Afterwards, I Was Able To Advise Him To Postpone The Listening Party To Another Further Date When He Would Have Gathered Enough Money To Effectively Run It.

He Agreed.


To Cut The Long Story Short, This Aquila Began To Start Visiting Me Uninvited Pleading With Me To Become His Personal Manager So That I Can Advance The Financial Progress Of His Music Studio Management.


He Complained Bitterly That People Had Stopped Coming To His Studio To Create Music Because He Recently Fell-Out With His Music Producer Who Happens To Be An Indigin Of Ugep, Cross River State, Nigeria.


Many Times, I Told Him That "He Should Be Responsible For Managing Himself" While We Can Work Together In Managing The Financial Growth Of His Studio.

After Many Meetings Together At My Home And His Studio, We Aligned Some KEY INTEGRATIONS AND OBJECTIVES So We Could Start Working Together For Integrated Utility Of Entertainment To Boost Youthful Involvement And Investment In Agriculture.

We Started Working Together.


Within Weeks Of Working Together, "Aquila Takim Boniface" Told Me He Wanted To Receive Some Funds From Europe From One Of His Clients. He Told Me That He Would Be Needing My Domiciary Account To Be Able To Receive The Funds Since He Didn't Have One Yet.

I Had Thought The Client He Was Referring To Was Related To His Entertainment Studio So I Provided Him With My Domiciary Account Details.

He Had Already Known That I Had Access To My Business Domiciary Accounts.

He Was Very Broke. And He Begged Me To Help Him Utilize My Domiciary Account To Receive The Funds.


At First, He Didn't Reveal His Scam Deeds To Me Because He Needed A Domiciary Account To Help Receive The Money. However, When He Already Provided My Domiciary Account Details To His Client; He Later Confessed To Me That He Was Receiving The From His Romance Victim Living In Croatia.

After Much Thought About It, And The Conditions Which He Utilized To Receive My Account Details;

I Decided To Help Him On Some Tailored Terms And Conditions Which Are:

1) Some Of The Funds Received Through My Domiciary Account Should Be Invested In Developing Cassava Processing Companies Along With Other Agricultural Coys Which We Can Start Utilizing To Create Jobs For The Local Youths In Ugep And Across Yakurr LGA.


2) A 10% Of The Profits Realized From All The Agricultural Investments Would Be Sent Back To His Romance Victim Who Has Been Sending Him Money For The Past Four (4) Years. This Should Serve As A Compensation Of All The Atrocities He Has Caused For Her.

3) A 10% Of The Profits Realized From The Agricultural Investments Should Be Allocated To The Nigerian Government For The Sake Of Tax And Community Growth.

4) A 10% Of The Profits Should Be Returned Back To The Croatian Government As A Reconcilation Alignment To Help Address And Alleviate African-European Internet Scams.

5) He Quits Scamming His Victim Within A Short Timeframe Of 5 Months.





He Is To Come Out Clean To His European Victim Through A "White Lie" Of Adoption As We Progressively Work Towards Investing All The Received Funds For The Integration Of

E - Entertainment Investments,

A - Agricultural Investments,

T - Technological Investments.






These Were All The Conditions That I Gave To Him Before I Accepted His Pleas To Help Him Receive These Funds.

He Agreed To All Them.



FAST FORWARD::::



For Over Five Months Now, He Has Been Successfully Receiving Thousands Of Euros Which I Helped Him Conduct Some Needful Agricultural And Entertainment Investments - Our Roadmap To Converting These Scam Funds Into Credible Investments That Can Reward The Society And His Victim.


Since The Month Of April, Year 2026 - The Five Month Time-Frame Of Quitting His Scams With His European Victim Elapsed And I Reminded Him That It Was Time He Focused On Recruiting Staff Who Will Start Working On All The Agricultural Management Practices Which I Willfully Trained Him On As The Core Foundations And Processes To Running A Successful Zero-Wastage Cassava Processing Industry.



However, "Aquila Takim Boniface" Had Another Plan All These While.



He Decided To Quit Every Managerial Relationship With Me Because He Was Not Ready To Quit The Fake Romance Relationship With The European Victim.


Instead Of Him Focusing On Utilizing The Agricultural Machines, Tools And Vehicles That We Purchased For The Purpose Of These Businesses, He Has Decided To Quit All Of Them And Up Till Now - He Has Continued To Scam His European Victim Which Is A Clear Breach And Betrayal To Me, Agriculture And All The Good Agricultural Ancestors Of The Land Of Ugep.

Many Times, I Decided To Take The Matter Up Legally - But At All Times, I Just Understood That I Needed Not To Rush The Process.

I Quit All Musical Managerial Relationship With "Aquila Takim Boniface" And His Purified Musical Studios In The Month Of April After He Became Arrogant And Greedy Upon His Stance On Not Quitting His Romance Scam.

Without My Awareness, He Went Ahead To Dig Up And Unmount The Industrial Cassava Presser Which We Installed On The Land Which We Rented To Begin The Cassava Processing Industry.

He Did Alot. He Also Tried To Use Nigerian Soldiers To Arrest Me For Some Imported Items That I Was Yet To Receive Via Our Product Importation Alignment Which We Had Together.


Lastly, On Two Occasions, He Brought Cultists Into My Compound To Threaten Me And My Family.



With All Of His Inactions With Me And My Family, I Was Cool, Calm And Collected About The Entire Situation.




This Is The Month Of June. And We Are Fast Approaching The Month Of July, "Aquila Takim Boniface" Has Continued To Scam The European Woman.


He Has Also Continued To Harass Me Via My WhatsApp Messaging App Hypocritically Calling Me Derogatory Name "Thief". An Empty Reverse Psychology To Keep Me Mute Or Overly Aggressive On This Matter.

On Two Occasions On Whatsapp, He Wanted To Poke My Anger Because He's Pained That I Really Do Not Care About Him Anymore.

Instead, I Allow My Silence Deal With Him.



Today - Sunday, The 28TH Of June 2026, As I Was Walking Back Home, He Drove Past Me With One Of The Mini-Buses And Physically Called Me A "Thief".


I Completely Ignored Him And Kept Walking Home While He Drove Past Me With One Of The Buses That I Helped Him Acquire.



To Show His High Level Of Lunatism, He Waited For Me For Over 10 Minutes To Pass By His House So That He Could Continue His "Despicable Name Calling".



My Response To Him Was Silence.

So yesterday, a childhood acquaintance decided to slam me publicly for not changing the "software" of Nairaland (meaning the look). She went further to call me an old man in a young man's body, suggesting that I'm not open to change, and to say that "charity begins at home", meaning I should not invest in other things until I change the look of Nairaland, because in her opinion, that's the issue that needs the most urgent attention on Nairaland.

I beg to differ. I don't believe in change for the sake of change. Never have, never will.

I remember when I used to look up to the webmaster behind Face Of Festac. He installed a gallery script that allowed people to post pictures and comment on those pictures, and it was a hit! It had over 1000 visits per day. But then, the webmaster decided to "upgrade" the site by turning it into some sort of weird private social network, and his visitors left.

I remember when I used to visit the MySQL Performance Blog almost every day. It had simple theme with a nice, legible font. Then they changed it, and now I really hate going there.

So I don't believe in changing the elements of sucessful website for no reason, because you could end driving away people who like your site just as it is. I will never change the look of Nairaland just to satisfy people who want change for it's own sake. I don't take unecessary risks.

But apart from that, changing Nairaland's look is not as trivial as an uninformed person would think. The theme has evolved a lot over time, with lots of little changes every month to accomodate the genuine needs of Nairaland members. If we move to another theme, all those changes will have to be ported to the new theme. Mistakes will inevitably be made, costing us to lose traffic as we struggle to fix those mistakes. We have much to lose and nothing to gain.

Naijahotjobs used to be Nairaland's number 1 competitor. Some months ago, they changed their look and migrated to Vbulletin. How is that working out for them?
