Kai i totally understand the pain you feel, it's an ingrowing toe nail which would would require surgery. I did the surgery in march for the same thing on my big toe. Do not fret the surgery shouldn't be more than 30 minutes, once you are given an anaesthesia you'll be good to go , you'll be treated faster in a private hospital. I could refer you to the hospital i had mine, after the surgery depending on your body you should be fine after 3 weeks to a month.

op this is definitely ingrown toenail and requires a basic surgery which shouldn’t take more than an hour to get done.
funny enough i have been binging clips on ingrown toenail since last week on youtube cos i find it fascinating. its done by numbing the toe, then clipping the whole side of the affected nail out before applying acid to avoid reoccurrence
