Hello NLanders.

I've been thinking a lot these days, but unfortunately I've had little breakthrough as regards what I'm about to share.

So... I was working with a media outfit a while ago... as a presenter, voice-over artiste and a sound producer, very proficient in the use audio suites- a creative writer, as well as a stand-up mc. But since I moved from the North-central to Lagos, it's been difficult to get a job. very difficult. I knew I might experience such but I had an alternative- it was to start up something of my own- however little- with my skills and abilities. It's been 3 months now..and nothing's clicked yet. I keep spending money going from place to place looking to find clients and a possible market, for my trade( or skills set, if you will), but all my efforts so far have been futile. Please how do I convert these abilities to finance/profit? I really need all the help I can get now. Cos I 'm only just "managing" to get by- financially of course. How do I harness my presentation, production, creative writing skill et al..to fetch me quids in Lagos's big market? I keep hearing connection this connection that....you have to know people blah blah.... while that might be true, I believe there could be other viable, cost-effective ways to make it happen. Its become a big concern. Please any ideas? For those who've been through something similar and excelled..or who know how to deal with such businesses?? I'd really appreciate your proffessional help. Thanks

Really Okay. Try stealing from your church. I.e if you're a Christian.

All of you talking ill of God's annointed, apparently are atheists, muslims or traditionalists who don't know a thing about Christianity. The idea of tithing is NOT anybodys idea but God's. And all He said was to give just 10%. "Bring ye your tithes and offering..... that the windows of Heaven may be open unto you". How do you think God's true servants get blessed Simple. They give. give. and give. Finance, materials, everything. They just give. And in return, God blesses them. I knew of an assistant pastor sometime who hadn't anything. But he kept giving even the little he didn't have. And then God started to bless him. People he didn't know would meet him in church, and give him unbelievable gifts. Money...huge sums- clothes, accessories name it. He then got a job at a construction company..and soon enough he bought a car...not long after then he gave it away. Shortly after he got a much better one. as a gift! so people these pastors you're insulting dont know you're insulting them but God who annointed them knows. and if it wasn't for His mercies a lot of people would've paid dearly for their ignorant utterances. In the bible Saul disobeyed God. God was pissed but still loved him. David had the chance to kill Saul but God told him not to try it else He'll deal with David. so if you're there criticizing someone whom God called, and loves- it doesn't mtter whether or not he or she is "bad". The fact that God called them is enough reason for you not to be careless with your tongue. The cars , the houses the jets etc are moslty gifts from people who can afford it! And tithes are NOT for pastors. if the pastor declared a thing as spoken of God and it comes to pass, you as a person can either decide to give God a thank you offering (offering box) or give to the pastor as a personal blessing. theres nothing wrong. Afterall God said if you give to them its like giving to him. so lets watch our mouths. it really important not to always be a loose canon. especially when it concerns God.
