The Blues have come in for heavy criticism after back-to-back defeats against both Manchester clubs and another loss could spin them into crisis.

Chelsea have struggled in London derby matches under Antonio Conte, particularly against Crystal Palace, but they are desperate for a result when they host Roy Hodgson's men on Saturday with a place in the top four on the line.

Tottenham are currently five points ahead of Chelsea, who are fifth and could miss out on a lucrative spot in Europe if they can't overturn the points difference in the final nine games of the season.

Palace are in poor form themselves as they battle relegation, while an injury crisis has seen them without a win in their last six games, but a positive result could see them out of the bottom three on Saturday.

Chelsea injuries
David Luiz is currently out with an ankle injury and Tiemoue Bakayoko sustained a knock in training.

Bakayoko is not a long way from returning from injury, as he works both on the pitch and in the treatment room.

Conte has confirmed that Ross Barkley is back from a hamstring injury and he could return on Saturday against Crystal Palace.

Ethan Ampadu is also out after coming off injured in the UEFA Youth League win over Feyenoord, over a week ago. He missed the FA Youth Cup game against Fulham on Tuesday night and he is receiving treatment, following his early substitution in Netherlands.

Alvaro Morata made his first start for over a month in the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United but he is still struggling with pain from his back injury.

Crystal Palace Injuries
Crystal Palace are going through another injury crisis, particularly in attack.

They are likely to be without their talisman Wilfred Zaha, who scored in the club's last two games against Chelsea, he is recovering from a knee problem.

Jason Puncheon and Connor Wickham both also have a knee injuries. Ruben Loftus-Cheek is ineligible to play due to the terms of his loan from Chelsea and is carrying an ankle injury.

Diafra Sakho also has an ankle issue, while Johan Cabaye is also likely to be out with a thigh complaint.

Even in defence Palace have problems. Mamadou Sakho will probably be out due to a calf issue, while Joel Ward and Scott Dann should also be out.

Julian Speroni is out with a knee injury, which means you could make a full eleven of players missing through injury.

Manchester United have been heavily criticised for defending deep when they have played the top six teams this season.

In the reverse fixture, Mourinho came under mounting pressure for parking the bus and holding out for a bore goalless draw.

However, Neville thinks the Portuguese boss will have to have more attacking intent now they are the home team against Liverpool.

And the ex-full-back says the Red Devils supporters will not be happy if they see their side hang on for a point against their arch-rivals.

The Red Devils have a nine-point cushion to fifth-placed Chelsea so could rest players ahead of their midweek clash.

Liverpool welcome Porto to Anfield ahead of tonight’s Champions League last-16 second leg.

The Premier League club are virtually through to the quarter-finals after their dominant performance in Portugal.

No side has ever recovered from a 5-0 home defeat to progress from the second leg in 29 occasions of the competition’s history and Liverpool have only ever conceded five times once in Europe – when they lost 5-1 at Ajax in the European Cup in December 1966.

Liverpool’s victory in Porto was their third in 11 visits to Portugal. On both the other two occasions – in the quarter-finals of 1978 and 1984 – they went on to win the European Cup.

The Manchester United striker is gearing up to face Crystal Palace this evening (8pm) hoping to extend his fine goalscoring form.

Lukaku has scored seven goals in his last 10 games as United sit third in the table – but they can leapfrog Liverpool into second place with a win against Palace.

Meanwhile, Chelsea lost ground in the race for a Champions League place having lost 1-0 to Manchester City yesterday and have fallen five points behind Tottenham.

So Hazard has asked his Belgian international team-mate to stop scoring goals in order to save some for the upcoming World Cup.

The Polish FA have confirmed that Olivier who is one of the best referees in Europe will be in charge of the game.

“That’s correct; Michael Oliver is confirmed for the encounter. Polish FA decided to pick him ahead of others because of his track records in the English Premier League,” the Polish FA spokesperson Kwiatkowski told Complete Sports.

Englishmen Stephen Child and Stuart Burt will be the assistant referees while Robert Madley will be the fourth official.

Ahead of the Super Eagles sixth World Cup appearance in Russia, there are uncertainties over who will be Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper at the summer tournament.

According to an information from the media officer of the Super Eagles, Ademola Olajire, Rohr has sent one of his goalkeeper trainers Pionetti Enrico to Spain to work with the 19-year-old at Deportivo de La Coruna.

Photos released by Olajire show Enrico working with Uzoho alongside other coaches La Coruna.

The 19-year-old goalkeeper made his Super Eagles debut in Nigeria’s 4-2 win over Argentina in a November 2017 friendly game in Russia.
