The IDF is recruiting two reserve brigades to Gaza: In ISRAEL, they are considering bringing forward the operation in Rafah from the originally planned date. The reserve brigades that the IDF mobilized last night are Carmeli (2) and the 679th Armored Brigade. Both are expected to enter the center of the Strip - one brigade will occupy the Netzer Corridor and another brigade will secure the American pier located on the shores of Gaza. Division 162, which until now held the corridor, will be freed up for other tasks in the Strip. A security source added: "The answer that Hamas gave to the mediators is so unequivocally against a deal - and it brings the operation in Rafah closer by giant steps." The mobilization of the reserves is intended, among other things, for the possibility of action in Rafah. |

We can all agree that what happened here last night was that Iran fired hundreds of missiles at us. This happened with advanced agreement with the US, which, along with the help it gave us, now forbids us to respond. Correct? So the only country that the US manages to effectively deter in our region is Israel, which has to conduct itself with one hand tied while fighting a war on five fronts. This may be a positive thing for some people here (who for some reason trust Biden more than Netanyahu, Gantz, and Eisenkot). This is certainly positive for a small radical group on the left that wants to deprive Israel of its sovereignty, while allowing the US to dribble us in favor of its dreamy interests of "peace" with the Palestinians. It feels as if the US has moved to full management of Israel's war strategy, while it promotes its own interests, which sometimes coincide with the interests of the State of Israel, but oftentimes don’t. So what now? Let's see the worth of our government, which until now has not revealed amazing strategic abilities. In the positive scenario, this government can give an appropriate military response despite the Americans. It can use the American weight to create an unprecedented regional cooperation, a direct continuation of the Abraham Accords, without harming our necessity to eliminate Hamas and release hostages. In the negative scenario of not reacting significantly, we will demure under the US's apron, dancing to its de-escalation flute, hoping that somehow its lax policy, which up to now has brought total chaos here, will lead to a different result this time. I suspect that there is a reason why the IDF spokesperson failed to mention where EXACTLY this UAV came from the east. Could it be from Iran? Are we going to witness a daily war of attrition where one $15K worth drone is keeping expensive fighter jets busy and expensive interceptors wasted…? IDF spokesperson: During the night, fighter jets of the Israeli Air Force successfully intercepted an unmanned aircraft that made its way to Israeli territory from the east. The vehicle was being monitored by IDF forces, did not pose a threat and no alerts were activated in accordance with policy. There were no casualties and no damage was caused. |

According to the US military, most of the 100-plus ballistic missiles Iran fired at ISRAEL last night were shot down by ISRAEL. Most of the intercepts were carried out by the Arrow Two and Arrow Three Israeli systems, taking place not only over Israeli airspace, but over neighboring countries as well. The US shot down four to six ballistic missiles with a pair of aircraft carriers it had moved into the eastern Mediterranean ahead of the strike.

Can we get something straight please: On 1 April 2024, Israel did not attack an Iranian consulate in Damascus. It was a terrorist HQ for the IRGC, masquerading as a diplomatic mission. Mohammad Reza Zahedi, the Iranian general who was eliminated in the attack, was no Gandhi. He was a senior Quds military commander involved in the planning and execution of Hamas’s October 7 massacre against Israel. Zahedi also led Iran's Hezbollah operations in Syria and Lebanon, including smuggling ammunition and precision weapons into Lebanon and working closely with Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. Zahedi, who was on par with Qassem Soleimani, also had "American blood on his hands", having been responsible for a number of attacks in the region, that claimed American lives.
