Ahead of the upcoming election on February 25th and March 11th, the Independent National Electoral Commission has urged potential voters to locate their polling units before the election day.

It is advisable to choose a Polling Unit close to your area of residence. This is because there will be restrictions on movement on election day. It is now easy to locate your polling unit by following the steps here.

Potential voters can also confirm the location of their polling units through SMS before the forthcoming general election on 25th February and 11th March 2023.

The Central Bank of Nigeria had last year introduced the redesigned 200, 500 and 1000 naira notes. The CBN gave a deadline of 31st January 2023 for swapping the old notes.

In a press statement released on Sunday, CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele announced that the new deadline is now February 10, 2023, instead of the former 31 January deadline. Mr Emefiele made this statement in Daura, Katsina State, after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in his home state.
