Osagie Ighodaro is a Bini high life music artist popularly known as the Uncle star. He pioneers a music band known as the Uncle star which he started June 1990. He began music at the tender age of 12 in the streets of Benin entertaining both old and young. He began music under the of 12 in the Streets of Benin entertaining both the old and young. His first Record Titled "Aighomwanhi" passed the message that encouraged Binis not to regret their life no matter how much success their Counterpart achieve.


This song was well accepted in the Bini Society and he gained recognition with this Debut. The Album was titled "Ikuedo" (meaning Bini Dance). He was the co-founder of Young Music Directors (YMD), President of the Unity Musicians Club and was also appointed as the president of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, Ogida chapter, Benin City in 1995. He got an invitation to Europe to continue his musical career, while in Europe, he began his musical band afresh and they performed on several stages thereby Bini Music amongst Europeans and Binis in diaspora. He has recorded some albums amongst which are Aighomwanhi, Nekpen Nekpen (slow and slow), Osaniga (the God I serve), Eghianogbovo (Enemies of Jealousy).
