To create a verified PayPal account, follow these steps:

✅ 1. Go to PayPal Website
Visit: https://www.paypal.com

✅ 2. Sign Up
Click "Sign Up"

Choose either:

Personal Account – for online shopping or sending money to friends/family.

Business Account – for selling products or receiving business payments.

Click Next and fill in your information (name, email, password).

✅ 3. Confirm Email Address
Check your email inbox for a confirmation message from PayPal.

Click the confirmation link.

✅ 4. Add & Confirm a Bank Account
Go to Wallet.

Click Link a bank account.

Enter your bank account information.

PayPal will send two small deposits (usually under $1).

Check your bank account after 1–3 business days, then return to PayPal to enter those deposit amounts to confirm the bank account.

This is the main step for verification.

✅ 5. Add & Confirm a Debit/Credit Card (Optional but recommended)
In Wallet, click Link a card.

Enter your card details.

PayPal may charge a small fee (refundable) with a 4-digit code in your statement.

Enter the code on PayPal to confirm the card.

✅ 6. Verify Identity (May be required)
PayPal may ask you to verify your identity with:

A photo ID (passport, driver's license, etc.)

Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement)

A selfie

This is especially common if you are receiving large payments or using a business account.

✅ Final Check: Is Your Account Verified?
Go to Settings > Account Settings.

Look for "Account Status: Verified".

If not verified, follow the prompts to complete the steps above.

⚠️ Tips:
Use real information only — fake info may result in account limitations.

Some countries may have additional verification steps.

Verification may be slightly different for Business Accounts.

Would you like country-specific instructions (e.g., India, Nigeria, USA)?
