Watching Laliga refs especially in a game involving Madrid usually make me laugh lol. Na why I dey laugh when EPL fans especially my Arsenal fan friends/colleagues complain about refs. I usually just tell them to watch Laliga. This season, is there a close game Madrid won without a red or penalty??. I'll research on this when I have small time.

Had 2 matches Real Madrid was given red card - won both matches
Had 2 matches opponents were given red card - won both matches
3 of the 4 matches with red card were Laliga 1 was UCL

Penalties played Osasuna, Marseile X2, Levante, Kairat, Villareal
Penalties against Sociedad, Atletico,
if we discount the penalties of UCL, it shows we have conceeded 2 penalties in Laliga and played 3 in same laliga

pls go and review your red card and penalties hypothesis again as it does not prove your hypothesis.

Vasquez - Carlo ensured to tarnish this ones image. Unlike Marcelo that choose to be on the bench when it wa obvious he was not good enough, LV refused to do what any senior player is supposed to do with getting the coach to play more reliable players and only come on the pitch when leadership is needed. Now his penalty legend is gone. He spoilt it with losing his penalty kick against same Oblak.

Alaba - No comments. He should carry the chair along when following Carlo.

SADLY, These LEGENDS (Modric and Vasquez) and players were mostly collateral damage from Carlo's disastrous decisions. Very painfully at that too.

He is at fault for all of this. He did not seek honor to start with.

Perez's refusal to strengthen the squad is the foundation of the problem. We were EXTREMELY lucky to have won the trophies despite this in the last 3 years. The stars aligned or should I say clutch players helped us win those matches not any tactical genius from Carlo. You cant say the team setup in any particular way in those COMEBACK matches.

This season we did not buy any player for the defence. Carlo compounded it with not elevating any academy player. Asencio was allowed to play after many world wars. Carlo was justifying playingTchou with phantom data which nobody knew where he got them from. The old man would rather continue with losing matches playing Tchou in CB, despite having a Vallejo on the bench. He saw that Vasquez was finished but refused to allow anyone else play in his place. He sacrificed Fede and our midfield for this purpose. He saw the horrible decline of Mendy but refused to improve him or allow Fran play.

So basically, he spread the bed he is about to lay on himself. He could have walked away like Zidane honorably when it was obvious as hell that Perez was running mad with not buying players. Or at best make do with younger players. At least the world would see you had good intentions. But he knew he was lucky to have gotten the Real Madrid job out of the blues. He called to enquire about a player but ended up getting back at Spain out of miracle.

The season has been the worst in the last 15 years, simply because the team is playing woefully, there is no prospect or upcoming defence player aside Asencio. We have lost to every single elite opponent and lost with wide margin goals. We were rather doing video edits of ramota abi na remontada, instead of thinking of match tactics. To now kill us, he choose the wrongest time to play Vasquez and Alaba at thesame time. To show he goofed he literally substituted both of them off the match. I cant recall many coaches taking off their full backs in a single match.

He did not pity himself and did not seek mercy when everyone had been asking him when he would leave for the past 3 months. He even mocked us all saying we dont matter. He said the person that mattered is not tired of him. So if the person that mattered wants to sack him without the season ending disgracefully, so be it. Although I am sure Perez would not do that.

We thank him for winning La decima for us and other trophies. But he should get the fuc kout.

We may think so and he may fail. There is no certainty in that space as of today.
There is however one certainty, Carlo has no idea to move this team forward from their current status. He needs to go be it resign (which I am sure he wont) or sacked (which we are praying Perez would just do the needful).

Deep down I wish for a comeback against Arsenal but not feel bad if its what will get him out. La Liga is gone and CDR cant be won with him coaching us.

I wonder too.

During his first stint in Real Madrid Carlo played James Rodriguez ALWAYS till the guy got injured and lost momentum and was never thesame again. He has this terrible habit.

The problem is not only just the fact that the board i.e. Papa Perez refused to strengthen the team. The bigger problem is Pre-retired Carlo is more interested in experimenting players in positions which is not their natural role.

The biggest problem of it all is his favoritism in the face of clear failure of players.

Tchou is a CDM.
Ancelloti is seeking a fall man by playing him deliberately out of position. If after playing same man in same position and is not showing signs of improvement why the hell punish everyone except your ego keeping to a failed decision?

We have 2 CBs in Vallejo and Asencio on the bench in favor of a Tchou. We have academy player sent on voyage or left in castilla while Vasquez is getting his legendary status mauled. The height is keeping Mendy not on the bench.
