We woke up around 3:30am and saw four do not reply messages in our mail.
First time applicant! PPR study visas for my wife and 3 children (8, 6, 4). Below is the time-line. I will post documents submitted soon! I’ve sent their passports to Abuja this afternoon.

My cousin did his biometrics in Lagos and now they sent passport request email, is it a must to send the passport to Lagos where the biometrics was done or it can be sent to Abuja ?

It can be sent to Abuja but he’ll need to pay a transmission fee since it was done in Lagos.

Thank so much for the faith you just install in me right now, because I won’t lie to you this delay is causing lot of depression.

Someone on this platform posted a new Nairobi webform recently and immediately I sent my e-medical sheet in the morning through the webform they updated my medical 2hrs later, but it was stated that you can only submit a form once.

Have been sending them mails back to back.

I have sent them webform also concern my application and they said they will get back to me on it, so I’m still waiting on their positive feedback.

I already ordered for GCMS Notes, but it still 25days

I hope to celebrate with you soon boss

What bank did you use pls?

Access bank. You can go with what Johnstan advised, I didn’t have that knowledge prior.
Just make sure you reach out to someone in the branch or go to the branch so that they can help review the application again. If you upload it without reaching out to them, it might take a long while before they re-visit it.

Please can someone advise me on what to do. My Form A application was updated to ADB rejected because I didn’t submit letter of authorization to debit. How do I attach this to my current application? And does this mean the process will start all over again?

You should start the process all over again with the Debit Authorization letter. The same thing happened to me, I uploaded the letter when my application was recommended for rejection, I waited for about 1 month but no one reviewed the application again. I started the process again and the ADB reviewer approved it.

Hi gurus in the house, thanks for saving lives with your advise and guidance. My wife is supposed to start her programme by Fall (Sept) 2023. We want to start our application by March 2023 (since our PoF should be ready then) . What time would you advise us to start the Biometric and Medical processing upfront. What is the relation with respect to time between Biometric and Medical Processing as Student Permit application we have seen can take btw 13wks to 17wks or more/less.

Biometrics can only be done after you’ve submitted your application. A biometrics instruction letter would be sent after submitting your application. If you’ve done biometrics prior to this application, say for a visitor visa etc, then you don’t need to do biometrics again because it lasts for 10 years.

You can also do the upfront medical before you submit your application or after you submit your application. It depends on you.

PG diploma is not equivalent to Masters.
From what I know, a PG certificate is higher than a PG diploma (I could be wrong)

Also, yes. You can use a PG certificate to secure a job.

Undergraduate Application.
Application submitted: September 6th 2022
Biometrics updated: September 6th 2022(Already done for a visitor's visa application)
Upfront medicals: 13th September 2022
Sent series of webforms and emails with my e-medical slip attached.
Medicals updated to pass: 7th October
Ircc ghosted me, no updates, no replies, nothing
Contacted an MP from my province and she contacted an IRCC rep on my behalf. They gave her update on my application on 2nd of November; criminality and eligibility passed but it wasn't updated on my portal.

I kept sending emails and webforms but IRCC said "aired"
Eligibility review started: 17th November 2022
PPR: 18th November 2022

All I can say is God did it!

First off, I’d like to thank God and many members of this platform for helping and keeping things running on here.

My profile in summary: 25y/o single male, parent sponsored, Computer Engineering BSc, graduated with second class upper, going for MSc, Computational Sciences. Graduated in 2020, worked as a Software Engineer ever since then.

Timeline and Events
New Portal
First-time applicant
Applied by myself. Learnt all from Google, Youtube, and Nairaland

July 4: Upfront medicals
July 8: Application on New Portal
July 8: Biometrics Request
July 13: Gave biometrics and received on portal
** Somewhere in between I’d uploaded my medical sheet from IOM via webform. Can’t remember when.
August 4 (2AM): Sent mail to Lagos, Nairobi, London and attached my medical sheet.
August 4 (Around 1pm): Biometrics and Medicals updated to pass.
** Long wait, ordered notes, CBSA and GCMS, nothing tangible.
October 11: Sent mail to MP
October 13: MP got back literally saying the same thing on portal.
** Around this period, started firing several versions of mails and webforms.
Nov 16: MP reached out to them again – Preassessment done, eligibility not started.
Nov 17 (Around midnight): Sent mails to Beijing, London, Lagos, Abuja, Nairobi.
Nov 17 (Around 12pm): Eligibility review started on portal
Nov 17 (Around 9pm): BVL and PPR

Little story, for POF which is usually a concern, I had like 5.5M in my account, $2k USD in dorm account. 5M was gift deed from my Dad, he had 25M in fixed deposit since July 2021. As at the time I applied, the money was fixed. There were several opinions about this, but I kept it that way even though I was scared sh*tless. The closing balance of that account was 77k in fact.

Around November 9 ish, I sent updated statement showing liquidated funds and my Dad transferred the balance of like 8M to me since I’d enrolled in courses. My savings in Naira and USD had grown, I also got salary raise at work so I packaged all these and sent severally via webforms – both old and new. Oh yeah, I’ve ordered like 3 notes and I still have 4 pending lol.

I’m adding all of these because I’m not sure what did the trick. It’s pretty much a combination of all.
