Cat showed me like Naija babe. That was my last cat . I sometimes wish I had a cat. I watch alot of cat videos on TikTok. But this economy is something else feeding a pet is a luxury. It would cost like N1.5k a day to feed a grown dog. N45k on a dog a month.

Like i said and i reiterate. A domestic cat refers to the species itself, not the cat’s behavior or living situation. Whether a cat lives in a house, roams the streets, avoids people, rejects people, hates people, loves people, it’s still the same species.

You make me laugh. That's like saying a Dobberman and rottweiler are the same specie. Ha ha ha !!!!! Domestic cats come in close to 100 different specie. They come in different shapes and sizes like dogs. What I am saying like dog is you do not know which of your dogs will start to bite for different reasons. There is no one specie of small cats. Small cats are what are called Domestic Cats. But even at that a cat will show you Within a month if is really going to stay. I feed a cat for 6 months and me and the car never saw each other. I only saw it when it came to enjoy the warmth of my chair at night. It ate my food for 6 months came to my house only at night to eat breakfast or dinner. Is that a pet ? Is that a domestic animal ? If it was domestic it would want to play with the giver of the free food. It was eating my sardines, milk, chicken and enjoying itself.

If it was a usual cat it would have come out for hugs and kisses.

There are close to 100 different species of small cats. What you have simply said is proof you don't even own pets. How many dog specie are there ? Alsatian, Dobberman, poodle. rottweiler. Do they all fall under the umbrella of Domestic Dog ? Each specie has it own name. Even Alsatians have to be domesticated and specially trained so that they don't kill the children. Doberman need special training, Pitbull nko special training. Mongrel the brown dog is the safest of them all or a poodle that is too small to do any harm.

So when we say there is more to the tag of domestic cat we know what we a saying. Some cats cannot be domesticated because they don't want to be with humans at all. The term domestic cat is used to refer to a cat that likes to be around humans and can live in a house with humans.

That is why housegirls are called Domestics but there are house helps who do not live in the house but come and go they are called Cleaners or Houseworks. You cannot call a woman who does not live in your house a housegirl because she does not stay in the house.

Read a story of an Oyinbo young couple whose cat vanished. Omo the Oyinbo girl broke down and entered depression, her husband had to start pasting pictures of the cat on walls for 3 months.Luckily for them they inserted a little device in the cats collar that had their name and address. It took two years before someone saw it took it to the vet it was the vet who removed the collar and took out the device to track down the owners.

Cats can get lost. It depends on the cat though, some cats are capable of being thrown into an unknown area 8 kilometers from their house and finding their house.
As I have trying to tell someone cats are all different and they even have different personalities.

Very very true. When a cat gives birth let the cat have time alone with the kittens alone. When the cat sees your not trying to steal or kill her kittens she will bring the kittens to you. Actually she brings them to you to let you know you have to increase the budget, since there are more mouths to feed. I have had quite a number of cats in my time.

I feed a cat for 6 months without us ever seeing eye to eye. It came on Christmas day 2020. I had been bad to our first cat when I was aged 8. I was seeking atonement.

You obviously have little knowledge of cats and don't understand not all cats are domestic. Some cats are stray cats by nature and if you like feed them morning noon and night they will never allow you to touch them. Then there are cats that love your free food and will never allow you to see them. They will simply meow for food hoping that free food will appear , they only come at night to eat and you will never see them in daytime.

The term domestic cat is largely based on behavior. If a cat likes to be around people then that cat can be called a Domestic Cat and should be kept

As for their mum, knowing she might run away when I get close , at first I tried to go round the house to meet her in the other side, she scampered out anyways, I only saw her tail jumping down the fence to the other side. They're so fast

You may need to clean the glass over the camera with a dry clean cloth. Your finger prints and dust is what is making the pictures look unclear. Your camera is 8mp and up so if you clean the glass case it will become clearer

So a stray cat gave birth in our house for a while now and we never got to know till today. 3 kittens, 2 mix of black and white and 1 that is completely black 🖤. The kittens are all looking big, fresh and well fed and I can only wonder how their mama did it. We discovered them this morning.

Later while washing the dishes, I heard a noise in the backyard and I went to check. Boom! I saw the mama, sitting on the pile of woods where she hid them, she looked like one of the cats born in our house. She's black with a white line in her face and upper body. We immediately thought it's one of our cats. Their mum was one hell of a weird cat, my dad got tired of her and gave her out. She'll grab her kittens and jump over the fence with them to the other side, then come back home crying and looking for them. sometimes we'll hear them crying on the fence and then pick them, there was a time we found one of her kittens in another compound after her mum misplaced her. This particular stray cat that gave birth looks like one of the kittens she lost, but I'm not sure.

The kittens are aggressive, growling, hissing and spitting when I tried to get them out from under the pile of wood. they are not yet used to humans. I managed to grab one out.

I've noticed it happen many times even though I have never kept cats.


The other time someone was complaining to me the way he noticed his cat's movement he suspected it had given birth somewhere... and he was observing to know where (And there are many places it could have given birth in his compound o)

And boom really we noticed the cat had given birth in the next compound. He had to go take the kittens from the compound and the compound people were almost claiming the kittens as theirs!

Yes cats are over suspicious of even their own owner. To get a cat to give birth in your compound once it gets pregnant stop calling it or playing with it. Continue to give it food without touching it. The cat will feel that you have no alterior moves towards it or it's unborn children. The reason why they give birth in strange areas is because they are scared of predictors taking their newborn. By letting them be when pregnant they feel you will not carry their children off.
