I dont know why Arteta will play Odegaard for almost 77mins..what crime did Eze commit..almost 5 matches no single min and he is not injured it will definitely reflect on his psychology thinking he is not good enough. Odegaard have played almost every three days he is fatigued....meanwhile fresh Eze is on the bench , uses both lags

That's the problem with Arteta ,he is a good coach but his man management skills is absymal.His lack of this skill has made him not to understand how to resolve the eze- odegaard conundrum and he keeps going for the easy option of over playing odegaard which in turn has affected eze's form and confidence. Many of those guys are having similar issues, look at MYLE LEWIS SKELLY tonight, very poor and lacking the kind of confidence he had last season .

Well, I guess you didn't watch the last nations cup probably why you doubted him. He is a really really good coach. His Mali team was the best team in the last nations cup by far. How they threw away their game against ivory coast after outplaying them for the entire 90 minutes is still a source of wonderment to me. They should definitely have won that tournament. For me, I already knew it would be like this. The major reason Eze was enjoying game-time was because Odegaard was absent (injury) as at when he made the transfer to Arsenal.

Same to Merino. Now that G. Jesus and Harvertz are back, watch as his game time has dropped drastically. (Although Merino is a midfielder, he had often played as a top 9 when both strikers were away through injury.)

Truth is, there are so many options in the mid-field. Zubi is on-form, Rice too and then Odegaard. So it's hard to reason his matter.

For the left-wing, Mattinelli and Trossard are back on-form, unlike when the season had just started when they thought they were going to be sold.

Its an open secret that odegaard is Arteta's preferred option for the number 10 role, no one is disputing that but eze not getting a single minute of football in the last 4 games is a questionable decision from Arteta. Eze has not had a below par performance this season, he has 4G + 2A which is a 6goal contribution in 15appearances while odegaard has 1G and 4assist. Arteta might have other metrics for assessing individual players tho but eze deserves some minutes to also improves his game.Arteta is a good manager but one of his limitations is his ability to manage a large squad effectively,he is good at managing a small set of players, over use them till they lose form or get injured.For Eze to get playing time, odegaard need to either lose form drastically or get injured but the fans will expect the same player who had barely get some minutes to start performing wonders and miracle; as how na??!

I think we need to organize a family meeting to know what's up between Arteta and eze. Four straight matches and no single minute of football for eze. The only reason why media have not been dissecting the issue is because results have been in our favor lately.

At this point,we should not rely on any of those traditional top 6 teams to help us beat man city.Most of their fanbase don't want arsenal to win EPL, most of them will rather chop stone than witness Arsenal lift the EPL. Let us just continue helping ourself by winning games by any means possible.
