Mpeace: Half year eps is N3.72. that is not so good. I pray they achieve eps of N13 like you hope. But from this result and eps of 3.72 in 6months, the price should fall. Maybe that's why they first released fake results to shore up the price before the real thing(although I don't think Access bank released the first fake results) They have almost same eps with Fcmb for H1 I don't think it'll be easy to get to 13 fy. If their acquisitions are done in good faith they'll have a great shot in the future but many things will happen in the banking industry next year because of the recapitalization. I wonder what will happen to some banks that are not listed and we have not heard anything concerning their recapitalization efforts. I think we need to start saving up cash. By this time next year e go don clear |

Agbalowomeri: I suspect that the January rally would be moved to December for big boys to exit. Purely a gut feeling If they successfully dump at a high price, it won't be funny. imagine being stuck in a mediocre stock. I think this is not the best time to jump on rallys |

Raider76: Investors question Nigeria’s new CGT push after call with Oyedele
https://businessday.ng/news/article/investors-question-nigerias-new-cgt-push-after-call-with-oyedele/
Nigeria is tripling CGT for foreign equity investors, raising concerns that the move may trigger a sell-off in the West African nation’s stock market, which is up almost 50 percent this year.
This December may be really red if something is not done about this CGT Foreign investors emerged from a virtual investor call with Nigeria’s fiscal reform chair, Taiwo Oyedele, with more concerns than reassurance, a development that could rattle sentiment toward the country’s equity markets.
Several institutional investors who were on the call characterised Oyedele’s tone as unexpectedly ideological. One participant decried the framing: “He basically said the bottom 97 percent cannot pay tax, so the government should focus on the 3 percent to fund the state.” Some argued the remarks deviated from market givens, stressing that capital markets demand nuance and predictability.
This December may be really red if something is not done about this CGT |

Locotrader: Of course there will always be opportunities in this market but one thing is to know when the opportunity is at its peak.
As you said you have learnt not to chase a moving train. Also learn to make good use of opportunity. There are some opportunities that will not repeat same again in life. Nacho was once at N2 and presented opportunity for investors, today it's no more at that level and can't come to that level again as long as the company keeps improving.
All I am saying is don't because opportunities abound and you missed the critical ones.

kintus: The best time to go above and beyond is in the face of controversy.
This is a critical moment for the Ella team — a unique opportunity to demonstrate excellence and prove a point. The spotlight is already on the company, and how they respond now will shape the narrative going forward.
Many organizations strive for this kind of visibility, and it’s been handed to them effortlessly. They must not let it slip away.
That is if they'll leave Cho Cho Cho and show workings
They should seize the moment and turn attention into lasting impact. |

Streetinvestor2: I didn't want to quote u but I am doing it for a reason. You want fact since you claimed your friend went to the farm. I would like you to ask your friend about what quantity of palm fruits he saw on the farm The biggest fact is in this particular agricultural business. Thr greatest asset is usually the biological assets..go and verify. This biological assets grows in value annually till it gets to decline stage.Infact it grows in value as it increases in size and its peak is optimal fruiting stage. Why am I not seeing it in this farm based on the land size. The only justification is they have palm fruits but not in the quantity being claimed. The capacity of ellahlakes palm cultivated land is questionable based on this fact Then based on revenue. They have the piggery section, palm fruits section etc.If this sections are all not yet yielding big revenue based on it has not really gotten to that stage as claimed. That means the work force at this stage should be small as a farmer. So why such heavy bill for personal and administrative cost. The only cost which should be noticeable should be for security and few staffs managing the farm.Which being a business man should be within your revenue. Now you have to go look for money to pay wage/salaries/administrative bill If they are only looking for money to invest in land, crops, machinery and other inputs it is understandable in that business.
Infact the money from yearly crops as serious farmers should be more than enough to pay labour bill after a year in any farm. You can be excused for the first yr as you are just starting. Oga I farmed. The only time you can give excuses after first year is if your harvest was poor based on many reasons. This I don't expect from farm like ellahlakes because they have professional in the field who could for see such at early stage and advice for the needful. Unless the result of poor harvest is something beyond thr control like militancy/large scale theft. Which I have not seen them report. The rice, corn etc in essence should be taking care of wage/administrative cost with change left as profit. What other fact do you want We know when presco went into cocoa in calabar,I cannot remember the yr but ogg was saying it was going to make them over take okomu. While this was growing, the palm oil side sustained the bills. What other fact do u want Street i believe your point they should trim down their operations to reflect their size and output not incuring expese above them. This means that the management is not efficient. Something is wrong somewhere even if they are planting only rice |

Locotrader: The market is all about what you see. I have come to understand companies with low revenue or low profit margins are no longer viable at NSE no matter the advert you do on them.
It is better to align yourself with companies that can generate higher revenues and declare losses while servicing their debts properly.when they are finally in profit, you will see their prices sky rocket.eg NB,IB,Dangote sugar, oando,Cileasing, cadbury, mtn etc. These are too big to fail companies and will always be the toast of the market.I am spotting the ones greatly undervalued among them to start now to buy.As the economy is improving, they will always improve. In the next 12 months, all these mentioned stocks may see 50 - 100%
I have chams but revenue is poor. With expansions, they will generate more cash flow. Welldone Baba great insight |

The revenue will continue to grow exponentially for the rest of the year. We are not talking about P/L or dividend yet o so best to stay clear if that is what you are after. Management should be grilled about the Oil mill commissioning. What is going on gan gan? So many promises and hopes. Do anyone have pictures of the mill installation or any of their farms. Going forward I'll be careful with stocks that came from NASD because some investors may need to cash out due to liquidity issues. I pity holders of aradel because it is painful to see your good investment eroding value week after week.
I think OandO is still trending because some people didn't key in when it was still very low and they are not happy about it.
