Which can wickedness be dis, and don't you guys go to department to check results? My course rep be like deeper life guy, na we dey worry am sef but we dey pay up cuz the guy dey simple/kind.

People weh I know for management dept and those financial/business department weh supposed drop money, Dem no dey respect course rep and dues... Na we science dept dey suffer this dues, levy and everything.

Due to his position back then , my course rep had access to people’s result before it will be released officially weeks later…

so some students will like to upgrade dia scores before the final release .

Also , mind you , you can’t walk into a lecturer office and bribe him , doesn’t work that way …

Course reps and the lecturers work hand in hand , so the course rep serves as the middle man in terms of sorting …

The only way a class rep can fail back then in my time was if the class rep nor link up well with the lecturer, maybe class rep go sideline lecturer, come dey chop alone

Also , it boils down to the kind of faculty and the department we talking about !

other ways include …selling of lecturer textbooks and asking students to pay unnecessary class dues

So my brother , if you wanna enjoy life as a student and still grad with 2:1 … become a class rep

The biggest way he makes his money is by lying to some of us that we failed a particular course (meanwhile we passed that course)

Many of us will rush and pay 5k - 7k to sort that course

Do this times 10 courses (x10)
And figure out , how much he can realize

In a department of over 400+ students
At least 40 students will fall victim Per course

This was over 10 years ago , building a bungalow in asaba wasn’t too expensive unlike nowadays .

40 students x 5k each = 200k (per course)
200k x 10 course = 2 million naira (per semester)

Na me first catch am, I used to see building material pics on his phone back then, I was curious and confronted him …

But as a guy man myself , I kept it lowkey from other students …in exchange for favours too …
