Welcome to Lagos 3 Thursday 29th April on BBC2 from 9:00pm to 10:00pm Welcome to Lagos BBC2 Three-part series exploring one of the most extreme urban environments on the planet. This last episode follows Esther, who lives in a scrap house on the beach in central Lagos. Her village has repeatedly been bulldozed by government task forces, but each time she and the thousand or so other inhabitants would pick up the pieces and build another one. There is also a look at the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit, which targets illegal dwellings all over the city. as Gamine has commented; i would therefore believe that people featured on the welcome to lag program were not actors but real people going about their normal business. thats what reality TV is all about. welcome. |
bbc2 welcome to lagos episode 2. anything to declare. i watched it last night thu 22 apr 2010. focused on makoko and ebute meta areas. people wre hard working. |
i was told that to replace lost passport one has to pay 40000 Naira - as new passport to first time applicants would cost about 20000 Naira. is it true that after November this year 2010, every Nigerian must use the new E passport as the original standard Nigerian passport will be declared counter-fit, null and void document. |
i would also think that the fire could also be started by hot ash or coke or coal or wood that was in domestic or industrial bins and unknowingly dumped on the site. slowly gradually these hot spots could get hotter and fire would then spread by the help of naturally occurring highly inflammable gases. |
watch the video by this link http://www.metacafe.com/watch/4478117/welcome_to_lagos/ and that shows the area we should work on: fight against corruption by stopping any corrupt regime from going further along the line. monkeys work baboos eat. |
is somebody eating me mugu when am told the new E-passport is 40000 naira instead of 22000 naira? |
i do not accept the IBAN number presented it looks fraudulent as money will be channelled to an account first but may stop there thereby not reaching the intended recipient. |
this link could be the rightful answer; 10 years is the age limit. see or log onto http://www.vanguardngr.com/content/view/18446/49/ where you will read as follows: Tokunbo car dealers, the recent increment on the age limit of car imports to 10 years may after all not provide the long awaited solution for more affordable cars in the country and therefore not a big deal. |
May I know the age limit of cars being imported into Nigeria. |
